“Amazing place! Can't get a better view. Right on the beach literally. Loved the staff, rooms and the included petite breakfast was delicious. Pool was heated and clean. Beach valet was attentive. They have a pillow menu! Only downside is you can't use the amenities until you actually have a room but they were able to check us in a few hours before regular check in. Can't wait to go back!”
“Everything is a good our better than described. A beautiful view of the garden from our Laguna room, peaceful, quiet, wonderful roof top patio, gorgeous flowers everywhere, loved the comfortable bed, the relaxing fireplace was most enjoyable and the very easy check in and out, so much better than a big busy crowded hotel. I wish we could come back much sooner.”
“Our second time staying here. Simple accommodations. Clean. Super great staff. Location is incredible for our needs. We love to walk, and everything is within walking distance.

“I love this hotel. Stayed for 1 night and the room was clean, beds set up real nicely, and the bathroom was very fancy. Went to sleep on one of the very comfy beds and was overall a great night. To finish the experience, we had a yummy free breakfast at their buffet. Easy parking, nice staff, and little store full of snacks! This place easily gets 5 stars.”

- Good location, near a lot of offices and Biotech Companies
- EV Charging, they have 6 Tesla Level 2 Chargers and they are at convenient spots (near the Door)
- Good Breakfast Options
- Sofa bed, that rolls out into a big bed.
- Decent restaurants nearby for Lunch/Dinner
- Service is prompt
Cons:
- We had a ground floor room and the kids in the pool were making a lot of noise
- The Queen bed and pillows we had were not Hard enough. They were soft and fluffy and not meant for adults.”

“I visited here for the first time in six years, and it’s my favorite place after the Big Island of Hawaii. The woman at the front desk was friendly and courteous throughout, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Although some services have been reduced, I was still very satisfied. I’ll definitely come back again.”
“I had requested special room requirements and these were accurately entered by the reservation rep. When I checked in, Andrew reviewed my request and ensured that my room worked for me. I had a room overlooking the ocean and the amenities covered my needs for the stay. Andrew has an excellent customer service attitude and a great sense of humor. Later I asked him for more information about the area and he gave me help finding the items I needed for my work.
Later I dined in the restaurant and Craig was covering the bar and restaurant. He helped me alter my meal to accommodate special diet requirements. He checked in to make sure everything worked for me.
Overall the service met my needs, it's a great location and I would recommend this hotel.”

“We love coming here! One of our favorite places to stay. The food, and the service is incredible. We love the pools and workout rooms too. We’ve come spring break and several times during Christmas break- it has never felt crowded. Which is one of our favorites about this place. A true getaway. We will keep coming back. Don’t love all four season but this one is awesome.”
“We used the passport website. Just to utilize the jacuzzi and pools for the day. It was a beautiful Tuesday.Hardly anyone there.It was very relaxing and Is tranquil serene day. It was the adult pool area. It felt intimate but very relaxing.Food & drinks: There was pool side menu with cocktails. I had a cold beer.”

“Let me tell you we are Disney people and honestly when my kids said they wanted to go to legoland instead of Disneyland my heart sunk. But this is one of those occasions where I was wrong. We stayed at the castle hotel and it was awesome. 5 stars from the hotel, staff, food, activities and park. Were already planning our return trip.”

“Stayed here a few times now. Nice hotel right in Carlsbad CA. Beds are good, shower is great, room is spacious, and clean. Service is good too. Enough parking, had no problem, and close to Carlsbad village, and beach. Ya your not right on the beach, but for a fraction of the price, plenty close enough. Great place. Would definitely recommend.”

“Best place I've stayed for a long time. Full fridge microwave, stove... even a roll of paper towels in the room. Family vacation to legoland was super easy. Kids want left over pizza from dinner, oh its in the fridge, aw greesy fingers, here are the paper towels. Super convenient!!!”

“Wow, for the price and location we were absolutely stunned and satisfied with our stay. The supposed new general manager is doing something right! Despite staying on a holiday, this was the most affordable and best bang for our buck which included a very delicious free breakfast from 7-10. The room came with Youtube and Netflix on the TV and there’s also a pool & jacuzzi. Our room was right next to the freeway which could be a problem for some people but wasn’t really for us. Staff was very kind and the property is very clean. I don’t think the photos on Google serve it justice either because it’s generally a very beautiful property near others. This is definitely the place you’d want to take your family for a vacation to anything within 50 miles. I’m definitely coming back!”

“Clean and comfortable rooms. Full front desk coverage 24 hours! We never heard that housekeeping will not be open until tomorrow morning! All the staff was nice, they spoke to you all the time!
The front desk addressed you by your name and gave us advice on restaurant choices and sightseeing places. There were plenty of parking spaces.
The hotel is located in beautiful Carlsbad with a park, a library, downtown Carlsbad and the ⛱️, very nearby! A special shout-out to housekeeper Maria!”

“The room was exactly what we needed. 2 adults spending the night after being at the beach all day. AC unit worked , bedding was clean and comfortable , shower was clean . Towels and soap provided . There was no shampoo but soap was fine for us. Cable channels including HBO. We had a smoking room on the 1st floor. Fridge and microwave in the room as well . Not sure if all room come w/micro fridge but the 2 beds smoking room did. It was a quiet night , very restful evening and affordable stay . My experience was very positive .”

“We love staying in Home2Suites when we travel. The Carlsbad location was great. It's clean from the lobby to our rooms. We didn't hear any outside noise. There was some heavy feet staying above us though. This is a great stay for families or couples. The large room and kitchenette make an extended stay very comfortable.”
