This resort is absolutely one of the bests. Rooms were great, staff was accommodating, honored our request for room location and proximity to other family staying there. Pool, bar, games slide and over grounds are just stunning. Enjoyed sitting by the fires and listening to the live music by the pools. Just an overall great stay.

Perfect location, we went there with my extended family and it was absolutely great. My only complaint was that my door (I always run into this problem when I stay at any resort) wouldn't lock when i would leave. The deadbolt and and chain lock mechanism worked when i was in the room but if I left the room, the door wouldn't lock. I brought this up many times with the front desk but they never fixed it. I had to have my fingers crossed that no random person would select my door and just happen to see it's unlocked. It was never fixed but thankfully no thefts or robberies. other than that the facilities and grounds were nice. The room was more than I expected which was really nice. I'd think about coming back here if I go back to Carlsbad.

We had a really beautiful time at this resort with Hilton grand vacations. We took the kids to Legoland of which they have a private entrance to and they have beautiful pool. Make sure you stay on the cove side when you book your room or you will be all the way on the other side with a small little pool.
Rooms: The rooms were beautiful and very spacious. Make sure and book one with the balcony.

IYKYK. Time share living is not like they put in commercials. We've been members of HGV for years and it's the only way to travel.
Rooms: Spacious and many options to fit your family or party.
Walkability: Very easy to walk and get around. Golf carts all around the property to also help give you a lift if you get tired of walking. Easy access to Legoland and easy to walk to shuttle stops.

Wish we didn't hear the poolside speakers on playing music loudly early in the morning. And hearing people outside with their rude music and some old man coughing loudly through our adjoining door. And a very nice place altogether, just the beds are never comfortable or the pillows.

Nearby activities: Plenty of activities on location. Food, Pools, entertainment!

We love to stay here. It's a very nice resort.
Nearby activities: If you have children, Legoland is literally on the side of the property.

Noisy room. I believe it was the AC. Sounded like someone was vacuuming all night.
Comforter had a blood stain that looked fairly fresh. When we reported the same, we returned to the room with a trash bag filled with new linens, as if WE were expected to make up the bed. When we called the front desk, an associate came to the door and entered without giving us an opportunity to answer. This was not a good experience and I would not consider returning. The qualuty of Hilton properties and stays continue to diminish. Very disappointing.

We checked out wishing we had stayed a bit longer. This hotel is very family friendly! The kitchen had everything we needed, there was even a step stool for our son, a laundry room and tide soap provided, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a lovely pool. The pool restaurant had great food and drinks. The private entrance to legoland is a plus! If we ever come back to legoland we will absolutely stay here again.
