I absolutely Love this salon and the women who work here. Jamie Press has been doing my hair for almost 10 years and I can't say enough great things about her. She does everything from color to my extensions that I love. I get tons of compliments on my hair all the time. She is kind and flexible and I look forward to my "hair days".

I love Jamie and The Hair Spa!!! Jamie has been my go-to for 10 years --- she does such an amazing job with my cut and color -- and there is no one that does a better hair wash and neck/head massage than Jamie!!!!! It is as much my fave part of the my time being there as walking out with a fresh hair!! The salon and the location as well are beautiful!!!

Nicci is an amazing and talented stylist and I highly recommend her to anyone needing a natural looking highlight and a fresh cut. I went to her a few days ago for a touch up and cut and left feeling like a new person! Not only did she do a fantastic job with my hair but she consistently checked in with me making sure I was comfortable. Offered me anything to drink or eat. So so kind, I love when you find a stylist that is friendly, and talented! Thanks Nicci !! I’ll see you soon ?

Im giving it at least one star so people know that amy is a sweetheart (the owner) and I dont know the name of the lady, but she is a petite brunette and I literally loved watching her do hair everytime I was in there. She did beautiful work so id say go to either amy or ask for the petite brunette closest to front door!
However, future customers deserve the right to know and beware of a stylist in this salon named nicci. I am speaking on behalf of my own expierence so keep that in mind.
She is what my husband calls a con artist. At my last visit she told me to book for her “platinum card” ($300) ive done it before and my head was covered in foils.
As I walk into my appointment, she tells me she doesnt have time for a platinum she only has time for a partial “cause she needed to go home and pack for mexico”
Red flag numero uno.
She then proceeds to give me quite possibly the most pathetic version of a partial. Ive seen partials. She simply did my hair part line. But whatever. Then she charges my card 589 whopping dollars.
Oh honey…. You are not there yet to even charge that much for a partial. Maybe one day in your career.
While she was charging my card I tell her that my hair was laying heavy on one side it needs to be thinned, she tells me to go home and style it (cause she was always either too lazy or too money hungry for the next client) to actually let me leave with styled hair and im too easy going to speak up. (That ends here)
She hurried me out so she could eat her luna grill lunch.
Her website states a partial is 150. Since she changed my appointment last minute on me I figured it was $150. She didnt discuss any pricing.
So she overcharged me 380 dollars.
Thats not an accident. Thats intentional.
Best part was, as shes doing my hair the owner asked her if she could take a client after me. It would have been good $$ because it was a big service, she says yes.
So she changed my appointment because she didnt have time and then takes a client after me…all right in front of me.
Then when confronted about overcharge she admits to it and tells me to wait till she isnt on vacation to handle the refund. Um, absolutely not.
One of her arguements was that she was upcharging me for my time in the chair. Um?? She left me half foiled and walked across the street to get herself better buzzed.
She has no business as a professional hairstylist. She has alot of growing up to do. Stealing money from your clients isnt the move.??
UPDATE:
I’m being messaged by another hairstylist and being warned that I’m flagged by salons because Nicci is running around crying to people. lol the level of tacky-ness I’m dealing with over this. If you can’t do hair, take some extra classes and get better. Simple solution.
I left out the major red flag for me where she asked to buy some of my medication off of me while she was doing my hair. I’m not a drug dealer and that is concerning that you would ask a client that.
So I stand by my review. Flag me in your system and then have more people message me to threaten me about it. I truly don’t mind. This hair stylist expierence has been the one straight from hell. ??

Such a cute little shop and everyone is so sweet and welcoming! Nicci did my hair and she literally did such an amazing job! I'm obsessed! She is super sweet and easy to talk to which makes the appointment that much better! She also gives suggestions too which really helps me because I suck at making decisions lol I would definitely recommend trying the hair spa out! I'm definitely glad I did!

Marissa has been doing my hair for over ten years! I have followed her since she first got her license, when she worked in Newport Beach. She is wonderful! She cuts my hair, colors it, and styles it so that I look beautiful. Marissa is the best. I also love the hair salon. I have been to about four different salons where Marissa has worked and this one is the best. It is warm, friendly and right next door to a sweet shop that has wonderful chocolates. The salon also offers wine in the afternoons, which is a special treat. I recommend Marissa for any hair needs!

I can't say enough good things about this salon. They always make you feel welcome at every visit. I've found my go-to stylist and couldn't be happier. Marissa goes above and beyond my expectations. I walked into a salon one day, met Marissa and the rest is history! She just knows how to make me feel prettyyyyyy! From hair magician to genuine friendship, she nails it every time. I told her today how much I loved coming to see her right in the heart of my hometown, and the whole vibe is so comfortable. I LOVE my hair after seeing her always, she just doesn't miss!! Amy saved my hair!!! After a color disaster from another salon. I called several salons for help. Amy got back to me within the hour, reviewed photos of my hair and scheduled an appointment for me with Nicci who is experienced in color corrections. My hair is beautiful now! Thank you Amy.

This was my first time at The Hair Spa. Beautiful set up and nice location with parking. Nicci paid great attention to my hair needs and goals. My hair was damaged from the last time it was bleached so I was looking for a fresh cut and to just tone it so I can grow it out. She gave me recommendations and I love her over all style. TI highly recommend!
