Mark and team area amazing. They are very technically knowledgeable and offered great recommendations for my entertainment room. Their pricing was very competitive and logistics of getting the equipment worked out great. I highly recommend doing business with DDS. You won't be disappointed!!

Service and expertise related to modifying or creating the best setup, fleshing out a budget, and determing the desired sound and visual experience is a business model that provides the buyer with optimal satisfaction. All four of the guys at DSS take your project seriously and work to educate you on options available. They provide the components at a competitive price and then come to your home to help make the installation experience one that assures that you get all that you're looking for. They are patient, flexible, and highly skilled at what they do. Frankly, you'd be crazy not to visit their showroom to talk to them about creating the customized experience you desire. The money is well spent, and the pricing is fair. Can't say enough about the advanages of using this company.. Old fashion customer service with all the current knowledge. Rock Star Perfect!

I broke the wiring to the cartridge on my record player so gave DSS a call. They told me to bring it in and they would take a look. Long story short it couldn't be fixed on the fly, but they legitimately tried and provided me with practical options. Didn't try to upsell and didn't even end up charging me for the evaluation. Genuinely helpful and cool guys.

Joe was happy to answer several questions on email for me prior to hiring them and Daniel, the installer, did an outstanding job - media cabinet now looks professional grade, pricing reasonable, and quick to get it done.

Over the years I have purchased a number of stereo components, TV's and systems from Mark and team at Dynamic Sound Systems. I can say that in every single case their recommendations have been 100% accurate. I approached them a few weeks ago with their recommendation for a new, best-in-class large screen TV. They recommended the Sony XR83-AJ90R. I did some research on the model and then placed my order. They sold me the tv at a cost below what I can buy on the internet and below the best sale price at Best Buy. When I told them what I wanted with this new set I was very specific in a few special demands - the most important being that I wanted to be able to use one single remote for everything - control of my surround sound, switching between apps (Netflix, Prime, and cable tv), and I wanted to be able to change channels on my Spectrum set-top box. I am happy to say that it all works as advertised. I went from 3 remotes to 1 - my wife loves me! I have used DSS for my 2 channel music listening room, and all of the components in my Home Theatre room, and I will be back for future upgrades to each of those systems. Thank you Brian, Joe and Mark! Nice work.

DSS is located in Carlsbad. Even if you live in San Diego area, this is the place to go if you are interested in high-end audio systems!I came to know DSS through Google when I decided to have a stereo system. DSS offered a demo session, and patiently demonstrated some combs. When I showed particular interests in B&W, they offered a demo session as soon as they got the 805D4 demo ready. Joe was very knowledgable and offered good advices of the setup, from the source, the amp and the choice of speakers.I placed my order at the end of 2021, and got my Mcintosh amp on March 2022. Due to COVID, B&W has a back-order issue, and Mark and his team has called me regularly for updates. Even though it is long waiting, I am well informed and prepared. Finally the speaker arrived at June.After one week of breaking in, the systems sounds amazing! Thanks Mark's team very much for making the purchase experience smooth, transparent, and mostly important enjoyable! They are professional in high-end audio system! I am sure to come back to DSS when ordering more gears!

I highly recommend DSS if you are in the market for high end audio and/or home theater gear. I had originally walked into the store looking for a Dolby Atmos demo. I had researched Atmos online pretty extensively but really wanted to hear it for myself and see if the hype was worth it (it is!).I walked in and Brian greeted me. He was patient, professional, knowledgeable and was clearly passionate about high end audio. I made it clear that I was just looking to learn more and probably would not be purchasing any equipment that day. He said it was no problem and proceeded to spend time running me through his recommendations and demoed several stereo speaker pairs they had in their listening studio. He asked me to come back the next day so he could set up an Atmos demo. I came back and was very impressed! In the end Brian ended up selling me a 5.1.2 system comprised of Anthem, Paradigm, and Rel gear. The end result was a home theater experience that in my humble opinion gives the big screen a run for its money! I also think it is important to note that I like to extensively research equipment before I purchase it. One of the things I look for is consistency between what a salesman tells and what the manufacturer literature and other reputable third parties recommend. Brian far exceeded my expectations, he definitely studies and understands the equipment he is selling.Daniel performed the custom install at my house. He absolutely blew away my expectations. Seriously, he performed a miracle. When he walked in my house I was immediately impressed by his confidence and professionalism. He was tasked with installing four ceiling speakers and mounting a TV on the wall. He managed to route all of the wires without cutting _any_ additional holes in the drywall - he worked in some amazingly tight spaces but was able to fish everything through. Further he kept the workspace extremely tidy. When I saw the final result I was shocked to see zero mess - no saw dust, no left over wire trimmings, nothing. It was an amazingly clean install with extreme attention to detail.Overall the crew at DSS is an incredible group of professionals. They are a small business that takes pride in their work. It was clear that many of them have worked together for a very long time and have built a great team. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I will be back and have already recommended friends and family their way.

I was in the market to upgrade my current home theater system. Starting with the speakers. I wanted to compare the Paradigm line to the Kef line and Brian was super helpful in this process. My wife was with me for the speaker audition and Brian was great in explaining the differences so she could easily understand the technical differences and the sound improvement as we auditioned speakers higher up the line. He also made some great suggestions in terms of equipment matching with the Anthem line. I highly recommend DSS. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy at all. I never felt rushed or pressured. Great experience. I will definitely be using DSS for my future upgrades.
