Brianna, Corina, Katey & Sammy were amazing! Me & my now, husband were so thankful for all of the amazing support provided by them and all the Wedgewood team. Since the beginning of our adventure in finding a venue, we knew it would be the perfect place! It was the first place we visited, and four venue hunts later, it was the one we chose! First of all, the team is so kind and helpful. Second, the bridal suite is amazing and so many other venues lacked this option. Also, the hotel being next to it is a plus as well as being able to get a group discount for our wedding party. There was a surplus of benefits found with Wedgewood and we did not regret our choice one bit. Then the day of our wedding, there were no errors. Everything went perfect!!! People were in awe of how organized everything was & how beautiful. My husband and I truly couldn't have pictured a better wedding venue & if I could do it all again I'd always choose Wedgewood! Also - their banquet team is great! Their vendors are amazing and the food is delicious!!

We can't thank the team at The Windmill enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the moment we began planning, every interaction with the team at The Windmill was filled with genuine care and excitement for our special day. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly set them apart.
A special shoutout to Sammy and Katey, who were our wedding coordinators. They worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of our decor was flawlessly arranged, paying meticulous attention to every detail. Their dedication made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Kelly, our banquet captain, was exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I had everything we needed throughout the night, checking on us regularly and ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Our bartender Julie, was so sweet and attentive! And the drinks were delicious.
Every meeting, every phone call, and every interaction with the team at The Windmill was filled with warmth and professionalism. They truly exceeded our expectations in every way possible.
Thank you, Sammy, Katey, Kelly, Corina, Brianna and everyone at The Windmill, for making our wedding day so perfect. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did to make our day unforgettable.

Working with the Wedgewood team was AMAZING. They took care of so much of the wedding planning details and the hassle that my fiancé and I were able to enjoy some of the DIY stuff that we probably wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise. They have different packages and add ons you can do, but generally they include centerpieces, florals, a wedding planner, day of coordinator, a DJ, officiant services, liability insurance, setup/cleanup and the wedding cake too. The add ons and some upgrades (I.e. out of season flowers, specialty cake flavors) will be at an added cost, but the cost of our wedding in total even with the upgrades we got was still way more affordable than any other wedding venue options we found. And the venue at Carlsbad was GORGEOUS.
The entire team was amazing, and Brianna was not only the person who we first met with but ended up being our day of coordinator! She was so sweet, personable and professional. Even when she wasn’t available the rest of the team were always super responsive and communicative. We had the best wedding ever and it was truly thanks to them. Their contracted vendors were amazing too, we loved G our DJ and Tara our florist - both were so sweet, considerate, efficient and did absolutely amazing jobs in making our vision for our wedding happen. They all did. Thank you gals at Wedgewood we love you!!!!

We had our photo booth (Desert Luna Photobooths) here for a wedding and celebrated with our lovely couple. Highly recommend this venue for a wedding. 5/5 stars, the staff was very friendly and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We can't wait to keep celebrating here with future couples and capture memories for years to come.

My husband and I had an absolute pleasure working with Carina, Sammy, Janae (our coordinator), Lee J (banquet captain), security guard, and Brianna! They were such an absolute pleasure working with from start to finish - from walking us through extras and certain enhancements we can remove to finishing the final touches to a beautiful weekend.I absolutely loved that they had some vendors recommended. Although some of them were pricy, they were super understanding and guided us when we had any questions with their vendors. We ended up working with their cake vendor (Cute Cakes), did their rehearsal dinner recommendation (Green Dragon Tavern), officiant (Kimi), flowers (Moments in Bloom), Dj (Shayn/DJ Maestro) and their catering. I absolutely loved their officiant Kimi, Dj Shayn, and florist Dede. They were so easy to work with. Kimi added very subtle details that my husband did and acknowledged the crowd. Got so many reviews! Hotel next door was okay but a little outdated. Most of our friends stayed there but we recommended our family members and friends to do the Cape Rey Hotel, which was gorgeous and only 7 mins away from the venue. The venue is next to a food hall but honestly, there were no confusion from our guests as there were signs of where the ceremony is held at - which was gorgeous, and where the reception would be held after. Our favorite part of the venue was the ceremony as it gave a "barn-like" feel we wanted with cocktail hours set up right next to it. I would recommend the wedding party/groom/bride to enter from the glass entrance. That gave a little more dramatic look. The reception is held right above and is accessible through stairs or an elevator. The reception is pretty big and can fit up to about 150, but we ended up doing 94, which was a lot more comfortable. Curious to have seen how 150 would have looked LOL!I liked that Janae and Lee J (banquet captain) worked together and prepped the ramen bar and tater tot stations. Bar service was great- they looked out for the groom and bride and made sure we had mix drinks and shots where needed. Photo Booth was great too! I would recommend that they have someone standing there if needed to help with fixing the light. Around 1 hour before our reception ended, the light turned blue, but other than that, it was great! Overall, the team was phenomenal and the venue was exactly what we wished for. Janae helped so much during the day of to guide us and family throughout the day to make sure we knew where to go. If you are in the bridal suite (where we had our tea ceremony), you can get to ride on their golf cart to the reception! The groom's room is at the hospitality suite next to the reception on the second floor of the venue. Brianna, Corina, and Sammy answered all my questions in a timely manner and made sure to include all the little details!Thank you for making our night and day magical!!

Wedgewood and the Carlsbad Windmill made our wedding day one to remember! Every single person we interacted with from start to finish was so amazing and helpful. It was the smoothest planning experience and the best day of our lives! Janae was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. From dealing with our goofy family to setting up all of our decor better than we had imagined, she was hands down the best! All of the vendors they offered and provided were fantastic as well! Truly just a magical experience through and through. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

My husband and I only have positives to say about the planning process and day of experience with Wedgewood Weddings. The all inclusive model helped with us being able to keep what we wanted and remove what we didn't. We were also able to replace things that we removed with what we wanted, for example, we were able to bring in our own cake.I'm an extremely organized person so being gifted a planning binder with checklists and recommendations of when to finish planning details was very much appreciated. We also were able to do one of our meetings digitally because my husband and I are not local and they were able to accommodate the other in person meetings with our schedules as well. Our day of coordinator, Sammy was truly incredible. She brought our vision for our day to life and was so attentive to detail and thoughtful. Sammy was kind enough to snap a few photos while our photographer worked her magic so she could give us our first photo of our wedding day to us the night of our wedding. It was such a sweet gesture and made us love her even more! Our biggest recommendation for anyone getting married is to get yourself a Sammy!G Bass, or DJ rocked! They were able to take our recommendations and blend a few Persian songs into the rest of the set list so each one of our 104 guests got on the dance floor. We also requested a private last dance and they recorded it for us so that we could always cherish that memory. Kelly was our banquet captain and the hand off from Sammy to Kelly was seamless. Kelly made sure my husband and I were fed and we always had a full drink. At the end of the night Kelly sent us home with some extra food for a midnight snack, slices of our cake, the top tier of our cake to freeze and a bottle of the champagne we served at our wedding. Our dog is very important to us and the Windmill allowed us to bring our dog to our planning meetings as well as be the ring bearer for our special day. Again little details that made a big impact, when at our planning meetings, they always brought our dog a bowl of water and let us know that we could leave a bed in the Grooms/Bridal Party room for him during the reception if we'd like for him to stay on site. The Bridal getting ready room in the Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel was huge and gave plenty of space for all six bridesmaids, mother of the bride as well as myself to get hair and makeup done. In short, if we could get married all over again, we would do it at the Windmill!

We had the best wedding experience with the Carlsbad windmill and ALL of their associates. Every single one of the team members were phenomenal and if we could do it all over again, we would change nothing! This was the first venue we looked at and the energy and vibe felt right from the first conversation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I wanted to take a minute to write a thoughtful review for the Carlsbad Windmill by Wedgewood. Too often people go to Yelp to vent their concerns instead of addressing people directly. I have nothing but good things to say about my and my husband's experience - so if you're here for positivity, read on! My husband and I celebrated on Monday 10.23.23 and had 70 guests. My husband originally suggested Wedgewood due to it's all-inclusive model, which made it much easier for planning for both of us since our work schedules are extremely busy. Yes, you will pay additional for additional things from the basics - but the pricing is reasonable, especially compared to booking all vendors individually in addition to the venue. If you are looking to spend very little, DO AN ELOPEMENT. Expect to spend money if you want to have a celebration with all the extra details and add-ons! We toured 3 venues and fell in love with the Windmill, particularly the lighting and almost spiritual feeling of the ceremony space. Unfortunately, our ideal date was already taken, but the planning team worked with us to find a date that worked. FYI weekdays have a lower minimum, so if you are trying to stick to a budget, consider having a wedding on a week day.(Now, my husband and I also did an elopement prior because we wanted to celebrate with just the two of us in a more intimate setting. We all know how stressful it can be to get the family involved. This isn't for everyone, but it was a great balance for us, and we are so glad we celebrated with family as well.)I consider myself extremely organized and very much a planner, so the scheduling ahead of important meetings was very helpful and they thought of things I didn't even consider. They let us stick around the space after each meeting to practice our first dance and get a feel of what we wanted for the space. I appreciated the vegan options for meals, especially being vegan myself with some vegan guests as well. We were able to drop our decorations off the day before and do dress rehearsal as well. They also stored some vegan cupcakes we brought in the day before to serve the next day. On the day of, the communication was phenomenal! I was hesitant about my vision for decorations being displayed accordingly, but Brianna (our coordinator for the day) was spot on with everything from the welcome table, to the mantle, to the seating chart, and was extremely communicative. Moments in Bloom did a BEAUTIFUL job with the bohemian fall florals and the additional cost was not nearly what it would cost if we were to hire a different vendor completely separate. DJ Shayn was the perfect host and stuck to my very particular playlist and vibe of R&B and throwbacks throughout the event. When Kelly took over as banquet captain during the reception, I felt very attended to and that we had everything we needed. Weddings by LMP took the pressure off and felt like good friends there to help celebrate YOU on your special day. The venue even made a last minute effort to get all vegan donuts for me! The day goes by so fast, especially when you're having fun. My constructive feedback for future (and I have told them this as well), is I wasn't a huge fan of the Carlsbad by the Sea hotel. I liked the bridal suite, but the rooms themselves are older and dark, smell slightly of mildew, and had some loud noises from the AC intermittently throughout the night. They are currently remodeling the hotel, but I might consider staying in a different hotel for couples considering this venue in the near future, at least until the remodel is complete. Cute Cakes did an excellent job with our assortment of cupcakes, but we did end up purchasing a small amount of vegan cupcakes separately because we were not a fan of their vegan cakes.TLDR: Overall, I would definitely recommend Wedgewood, and still love this venue space! If you are having any type of wedding celebration in this economy, you WILL be spending money. But the money we spent was well worth it

My husband and I got married here on 9/8/23 and we were so happy with how everything ended up. Sammy and Lee J were super helpful the day of. Sammy let us come into venue after 9:30 am and help set up to make sure everything was to our liking!Carlsbad by the sea Hotel- super convenient hotel since it's litterally a 2 min walk to the venue but not worth the money. We got an "upgraded suite" and the standard rooms our family stayed at were better than ours . Mind you our suite was about $600-$700. The room was dated and a lot of family members complained that the rooms were falling apart. We did a room block and was nice to have all the family in the same building. We all hung out on the patios and we're able to sit out and talk.Bridal suite- located at the Carlsbad by the sea hotel and you get access at 9:30 am. I went to front desk at 9 am to ask if it was ready and they allowed me to go in early. This room is gorgeous and was 1000% better than I expected. Only downfall is that if your family is staying at the hotel they can see into the suite and will 100% see you before you walk down into aisle. Food- delicious we had people tell us all night how good it was .Photo Booth- everyone loved Cakes- cute cakes was good nothing crazy would definitely use againFlorals- we upgraded our arrangements additional $50ish per table and honestly if I was from the Carlsbad area I would've looked for another florist but since I live in LA finding a vendor here to take florals down would've been alot pricier. The venue provided florist was overpriced for what we got. My mom diy'd all decor for ceremony and it looked better than what vendor put upstairs for our reception.Bar- starwberry margarita 100% way to go! Super friendly bar staff did not give us any attitude when we ordered 10 plus shots multiple times Dj- if I could go back I would also look for an outside Dj. Harrison did the best he could but music wasn't we hoped it would be. We sent in Apple Music playlists but doesn't seem like it was used. We ended up doing song requests for the last hour of the night Our wedding was gorgeous and loved every second of it !

Highly recommend The Carlsbad Windmill by Wedgewood Weddings to celebrate your big day! Their staff is very kind and knowledgable. Corina was our day-of coordinator and we LOVED her! She carries herself so professionally, and also has an upbeat and fun energy she brings to the day - while bringing your wedding day vision to life AND keeping everyone on schedule. She also had a photo of our ceremony printed and framed for us by the time we reached the sweetheart table, which was a very thoughtful touch.Kelly was our banquet captain and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our reception - whether that was more food, dessert, another drink, or even some water! She was checking on us throughout the night so we could enjoy with our friends and family. We brought in several outside vendors (floral, photography, DJ) to ensure our personal touch which did cost us more in the end, I would say really the only downside of choosing an "all-inclusive" venue. Overall, The Wedgewood team has this process down to a science and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to have THE BEST DAY!! Thank you so much, Wedgewood!
