Having children, buying a home, moving overseas, employment withholding questions, divorce, and anything else I’ve ever needed assistance and advice with. Called multiple times requesting a quote for monthly bookkeeping services for our small property management business. Always received a machine answer, always left my name & number. To this day have never had the courtesy of a return call.

My review is based on my appointment being cancelled the same afternoon of my appointment on the 18th TAX DAY! We made this appointment over 3 weeks in advance and even spoke to the consultant a week ago. We were told we would receive an email with the business address and a “picture of the building.” Well that never came so we called yesterday and left 2 messages, finally the consultant calls back and says she called me yesterday and left a message on my VM, which I did not receive. She said I have to cancel you because we’re overbooked. You tell me this on the actual day of my appointment, why book me in the first place? I requested to leave work early for this appointment and this is how they treat new clients? Nope, they’re not getting my business, this is no way to run a business.

Sean is the ultimate professional -- he is sincere, patient, and a Subject Matter Expert in his field. Sean Currey has a knack for explaining complicated taxes issues in a very straightforward manner and never makes me feel rushed or pressured. Carlsbad Tax also handles all the bookkeeping for my small business and as a Solo Practitioner, I no longer dread tax season. Sean Currey also guides my teenagers who are starting to work and have college careers. He is very personable and never makes us feel rushed or pressured. Last, but certainly not least -- Carlsbad Tax fees are extremely reasonable, and Sean Currey's expertise is worth every penny. Thankfully, we found Carlsbad Tax in early 2019, when we moved from San Jose. Sean has always done such a good job with our taxes. He’s extremely knowledgeable, on top of all of the tax information and so easy and kind to work with. We are so happy with their services.

Last year I tried a business with a very similar name in the area who made SEVERAL MAJOR MISTAKES that I am now trying to recoup through amended returns. Carlsbad Tax is helping me get my life back. I can't say enough good things about them.

Great price and more knowledgeable than the guys in the mall. Location is a little hard to find and hours seem to be flexible. If you can get in they will do a good job!
