I’ve been a PNC customer for years, having moved here from NJ. I walked into this branch today for the first time and received amazing service. I needed a smart, creative, intelligent, patient person to brainstorm and solve a problem and voilà! Done! I’m a happy camper!

It has been a challenging transfer from BBVA to PNC to say the least! Several hours on the phone to get some answers. I would like to compliment Tanner from the branch in Carlsbad who had the professionalism to call me back following a couple of emails to help us navigate the new online system.

FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE OFFICE OF CONTROLLER! HelpWithMyBank.govThe transfer from BBVA to PNC is an absolute nightmare. Cant access accounts or credit cards and bankers all have different answers. Have been on hold for over 30 minutes to be told I have to go to a branch to fix their mistakes. Then they tell me it will be resolved in a few days, 3 days later they want me to go back into the branch again. Still not fixedNo bank should be allowed to operate in this manner with peoples $ on the line

Please read! Unfortunately there's no page for their credit card service. BBVA has been the most unprofessional and inconsiderate company I've ever dealt with. They lied to me about reducing my balance after going up the chain of command for a prior reduction due to autopay not working. That was cleared up and I paid the balance in full at that time, perhaps two months ago. My concern was after the first reduction they sent me a letter stating they were going to continue to reduce and then close the account for an error that was initially theirs. Today I just paid the small balance and closed my account because they brought my limit down to $500!!!! Capital one just increased my balance by 50% the same month BBVA reduced it. This makes absolutely no sense and they have temporary ruined my credit while I am looking at home financing. Please do check my account page and see that I have never left anything but 5 star reviews because I only review places I love or take my problems to management / ownership to solve and not public humiliation. But with a large corporation like this, I want to tell as many people as possible. They lied and / or their company programmed algorithm decided for them. They bow and serve a computer rather than being in control themselves. This last time I wasn't offered help, a manager, an explanation, or anything. I'd avoid this company at all costs and take your business elsewhere. Hopefully the employees get treated better than the customers.

Drove 20 minutes to come to a branch because I had sensitive and large transactions to make, to find out they are closed for lunch? Because there are only 2 people working. Can you not take separate breaks? Unacceptable for a banking institution.

Normally I would not write a review one way or the other especially during difficult times as now, however this bank is absolutely the worst bank I had the misfortune of dealing with. I opened a business account keeping in my I have other business banking relationships however bbva is one of the few banks that allow you to build business credit by securing your own funds They opened my business account and I applied for a secure card with the minimum security of 500 It is my belief that because of the low security deposit they have elected not to process my application . We are now at 2 months and I have been told underwriting is very busy. I have repeatedly ask for a supervisor and repeatedly told I will get a call by the end of the day 1. It doesn't take 2 months to process a credit card let alone a secured card 2 if I was a customer that they cared or customer service was a concern, someone would have called in two months 3 I waited the 2 months to clearly get a a gauge on the situation to see if anyone would call or respond back to my calls that I made daily, I am certain that if I had deposited larger amounts, very large my treatment would certainly have been different. This branch is horrendous, I am not sure if this is the standard for the entire institution or just this branch, however I do not recommend this branch

I have been a customer of BBVA Compass for 12 years. 7/12 at this branch. Professional and knowledgeable. All staff goes above and beyond. I think this bank is a hidden gem in the Carlsbad neighborhood. Try it. You will be happy you did.

On Saturday 10/8 I went to go use the ATM. I did everything you are suppose to do and the machine came back and told me that my card was not available at this time. It was a SDCCU card. Then I ran over to the Sprouts in the same parking lot and tried my card there and no problem! Got my cash. I just looked at my banks statement and not only did they charge me $5.50 service fee, but they also deducted the $80 from my account showing as if I received the cash from the ATM. I dont even give this 1 star but in order to post I have too. Now I will have to deal with the bank this week which will be time consuming.

worst bank ever!! the servive manager Daisy, closed all my accounts after a week with no notice or anything which is illegal. high turn over and the manager Brian never returns calls or emails. I've called him and emailed and not once got a response so I finally went in and only 2 female tellers that were rude and couldn't answer basic banking questions. the teller seemed like she was on something talking very slow like she was on some sort of heavy medication. and the other teller was yelling and be in rude to customers.
