“Such a cool place and market! Honestly the falafel and hummus weren't to my liking, but perhaps I've become accustomed to the Greek style, which tend to have more herbs and spices, and the chickpeas are slightly coarser. Perhaps Persian-style is just different. It was still pretty good after crisping up the falafel in the toaster oven after drizzling a little olive oil on them. Also a little lemon juice and olive oil on the hummus made it better too. Though still much better than Nectarine Grove or Luna Grill, which put the awful in falafel.”

When purchasing a cut of meat or seafood the professionals behing the counter will guide you and even explain cooking instructions if you need! My favorite local market ever. i have lived here my whole life and have never found a market such as this. the store is a very sweet welcoming place, with some of the best people! There food is some of the best food i have ever had. There food is always so fresh and healthy- not to mention delicious. If you have not been here yet you most definitely should go!”
“It cannot get any better - TJ's is T-H-E best. In addition to a happy-to-help crew, customers seem to assist one another. The addition to 99-cent greeting cards is appreciated since stores are comfortable charging $5 to $12 for one that isn't all that much different. The wine selection at TJ's is reason enough to shop there.”

From the exotic snacks and energy drinks, to the HUGE selection of wine, this place is where it’s at. They also have (literally) everything needed in a pinch; deodorant, cutlery, birthday cards and stationary, tools. You name it, they have it. “Every time I trek down here from La Costa I kick myself for not coming more often. It's so far for me, but the prices are just so unbelievable when you have teenagers in the house and have to shop in bulk. I usually need 2 full carts of groceries a week! I can get a huge full cart including meats and incidentals for about $300! When you come bring your own bags, and be prepared to bag your own groceries - fast. Bring help maybe? Also it's cash or debit only, no credit. And Don't make any messes please with the bulk items. Keep a watch on your small children, it's like a huge crowded wherehouse here. Let's not ruin it for everyone and cause them to discontinue things like bulk honey, peanut butter and candy because we can't be responsible. I'm especially happy with the produce section- I have had great luck getting fresh, good quality produce here!”
“Ooh so so yummy good. The sandwich was delicious I went with the club and I also grabbed a bag of these Nicki Minaj chips which I do NOT recommend. But the sandwich was great and we walked over to benches that overlooked the Pier which was so nice and this dog there named Brûlée was wanting a bite of this sandwich sooooo bad !!!! Goes to show it was a good sandwich. The guys working were super nice and friendly. It's really close to some nice beaches that you can walk over to and see so many pups !! It was really nice !”
