Get the frankincense + sandalwood scents. I use them when I meditate/ rituals. They make great sandalwood prayer beads as well. Although I got them for like 40 bucks since the price of sandalwood has increased over time. AND they have free vintage SRF magazines from the 70s- early 2000s in a basket by the exit!”

603 S Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas“Incredibly helpful owner who was knowledgeable and informed with local literary information and events. Was aware of what was on the shelves, even if some things ended up behind others, due to the nature of the shelving being used.Clean, about as well laid out as can be, engaged, and outgoing. Would definitely recommend coming in and would happily return if we're even remotely nearby.”

The volunteers are so sweet and helpful… I was so thankful to have Becky and Roberta helping me as I needed A LOT of books to fill my library and they were so kind. I love this place so much, I’ll be in here perusing their collection every moment I can!”

325 Carlsbad Village Dr B-1, Carlsbad“What a wonderful bookshop and the store owner was a pleasure to converse with. You can hear his passion for books in his voice.Anyway, we had planned a weekend trip to Carlsbad and searched for used bookstores in the area and Farenheit came up. So glad we stopped in and were able to walk out with a few books. Many vintage finds for all you collectors. Look closely and carefully as there are so many nooks and crannies in the shop where hidden gems can be found. You can find art books to cookbooks to history books. Please note that the shop's lease for this location is up soon. If you and anyone know of a space in Carlsbad Village, please contact the store owner Philip. He and this community deserve to have a bookstore. We are never too old or too young to learn. Grab a book and enjoy a good read! Lookout for the bargain books! And I loved the music played during our shopping experience, French jazz, which set the mood for our lunch in a local French cafe.Support this small business and stimulate the local economy and our brains!”
“I had used books and read on their Friends of Encinitas Library website donations were welcome! The wonderful ladies took the time to talk with me and let me know what items they could resell. I was so elated to hear and see the community, kids and adults, still reading old paperbacks. The selection of books are bountiful and the cost is very reasonable. Please support your community. Every penny goes back to the city!”
“Great store. The place is nice and clean (like all Barnes & Noble), staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I can't wait to go back and get more books.”
“If you’re looking for an easygoing place to buy school supplies, merchandise, (text)books, and everything in between at UCSD, this is it. Almost everything is overpriced, albeit a public university, but the quality of products like notebooks and lanyards and the quality of service for Apple products and beyond are outstanding. Wait times aren’t very long unless you’re ordering something in person that could’ve been done online, and payment options are standard. It’s also located near Price Center, so that’s a plus. Solid bookstore.”

685 S Rancho Santa Fe Rd, San Marcos“This is one of those Goodwill stores that's mostly a bookstore. They do sell some other items like clothes, accessories, and knick knacks, but just a few select items and priced higher. Book selection is decent and well organized.”
“I went in looking for textbooks and 2 staff members made sure I left the store knowing exactly how to access them. They waited beside me while I checked my requirements online and walked me through options along with their pros and cons. I wasn't expecting such excellent customer service. Keep it up!”
10AM - 7PM
1520 Encinitas Blvd, Encinitas“Early this morning, I started a job where it requires very tough labor doing demolition on a patio deck. I was dispatched to go to another job where I would need to be dressed, appropriate for an interior design store, and help out moving and delivering items.. since it was short notice, I was drenched in sweat, jeans, dirty, and in construction steel toe boots. I had a couple of options to go to Walmart or target to find a new set of clothes but instead I stop by the local Goodwill store and within five minutes I was able to find a shirt some shorts and shoes off for under $35. I let the staff know my situation, and her name was Liz and Liz asked if I had a place to change. I told her I did not, and she let me use the restroom to change into my new outfit. She welcomed me with smiles and helped my day go by 10 times smooth then it would have. I applaud her customer service and hope everyone gets to experience her attitude and personality... Liz even took a picture of me so that I can share this with you guys. I went in with a problem and left with a new outfit and a solution to the first curveball of my day, thank you Liz, for being an awesome associate and thank you goodwill for being so close and so available”
“There are too many T-shirt options. The Nike workout gear is very eye-catching, but how are college kids supposed to afford $64 for a zip-up wind breaker? They should also have a think of adding a yoga pant section instead of only offering too short shorts or baggy sweat pants.”
“Don't let the small space fool you. This place was such a gem. Friendly staff and great deals. The books were so well organized and priced well. We will be back!”
