I always eyed this store when visiting Capitola Village. I'd always visit right after their closing time so I was never able to go in until a few days ago. The clothes looked so cute... but the employee's intentions were definitely not. When I walked in, I was greeted with a look up and down and harsh silent judgements. One of the ladies followed me around the store with the obvious assumption that I was going to shoplift, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I do not recall this type of behavior shown with the white women also shopping around. As a hispanic/south-east asian woman, I was utterly offended by this stereotyping! Nonetheless, it broke my heart that the store I've been wanting to shop in for the longest time saw me in that light.

Absolutely the best boutique in Northern California. They have the perfect outfit for every event: formal gala, business meeting, day at the beach, boxing match...Everything is high quality and on point, yet infinitely more cool than what everyone else is wearing. Love this shop.

Pretty solid women's boutiqe shop more or less ground zero on the capitola esplande. Parking can be tricky. in the winter, in the mornings, and in general in the off season and it's not a big deal. Street parking is randomly possible (free parking in december!) and the lots close by never fill up. come in the summer however and if you're not here by ten am you're in for a park and walk for certain. i think this is the largest boutique of it's type on the strip. More choices then most, better staffing, and overall a great if expensive fashion stop. More or less divided into a section for panty/bra stuff, slinky things, and fashion. While it's been described as conservative, older fashion and that can be true for the some of the tops/pants/jacket combos the beach wraps are very young/fast fashion focused. Something for everyone really. They have that light classy cali look dialed in. Decent amount of the kind of jewelry that costume jewelry was meant to mimic as well. As stated the staff are pretty good at picking out what looks good, making suggestions and soothing over one's spouse who may not feel terribly comfortable in the space at first. That may not be a thing you have to worry about but it sure came in handy for me, and I really appreciate it. Pricing is on the higher side. If you get out spending only a couple of hundred dollars on an outfit you've done well. You'll be turning heads though, so it can be worth it.

This is probably one of my favorite boutiques I've found in California in the six years I've lived here. I'm from the Bay Area and found it when I was exploring in Capitola. I went in the first time because it's not often I come across a shop with my name. The ladies running it are awesome and dressed me so well. Today I bought a beautiful white cashmere sweater. Their clothes are really high quality and fit me to a T.
