Store is big and stocked with nearly anything you could be searching for although it seems like there wasn't much thought put into how they organized and displayed everything.

Salon is a waste of money and time.
Didnt expect to be amazed, but hoped to at least get a decent enough service I’ve had at Ulta before. Instead of ‘full gray coverage’ ended up with mismatched brassy brown tone color, some grays still showing, uneven coloring around face. My hair was still half way wet when she asked if there is anything else she can do as if she was done. Had to ask her to finish drying the hair, to use a different brush so it would stop pulling hair out and to clean the dye off my face! When I pointed out about the color mismatch and grays, she just said “oh no!” twice. No sorry, no let me try to fix it.. just gave me a bill!

I came for my first ever professional bleaching, i’ve done it before just at home. I was with Haley and she was so sweet! Definitely made me feel very comfortable and talked me through all of it. She SLAYED THIS HAIR IT LOOKS SO GOOD ! I’m so shocked with how beautiful the final look is!! I recommend this salon to anyone looking for any hair treatment, very affordable too!

Some things I truly love about this store- great layout, products that target both young and aging skin, nice staff. My issue is that I've been here for a color match, maybe 3 or 4 times in the past year and a half and nobody has been able to get it right. Think Zendaya in the winter and a light Keke Palmer in the summer. The last time I came in, the product was applied to my cheek and blended upwards toward my eyes instead of downwards towards my jawline to see if it matched. With a quick glance in the mirror it was clear (to me at least) that my face and neck were two different colors. I don't understand why there is no issue with getting a correct match when I go to San Jose. Do better Capitola.

The layout of all Ulta stores makes me claustrophobic in the same way as IKEA's mouse maze does. Sales staff float with keys to unlock merchandise or allow you to sample items under lock and key, sad sign of our times. I was looking for a rollerball/purse size of YSL Mon Paris. They didn't have it in the display case but offered to look in the stockroom; alas, they didn't have it. Customer service was terrific: Pleasant, welcoming, spontaneously helpful. A+

They have right now a semi-annual beauty event ..right now certain products are 1/2 off.i bought Paul Mitchell super skinny hair serum for $14 regular price $28 ?OMG what a deal ....So ladies check out their specials different items but the price is only that one day.

Valkyrie is the best stylist ever! My daughter and granddaughter been current customers of hers for years and encouraged me to book with Valkyrie and WOW! So glad, best decision. Valkerie spent time to discuss my desired haircut, reviewed pictures and was thorough before she started. Her personality is so helpful and her skill level is very high, you can just relax during the experience. Compliments were rolling in even while the haircut was going on, and they continue for months afterwards. The results are pure satisfaction!
