Pueblo Viejo is a beautiful shop in Capitola. And I do mean beautiful... like an art gallery. If you love Mexican handicrafts, pottery, furniture, artwork and jewelry you will love this store. I was especially impressed with the mirrors framed in hammered silver. Here you will find unique gift items as well as home decor. Parking is on the street or in a nearby lot.

I have to say 'ditto' to the poor customer service. Shopkeeper was not even interested in saying 'hello' back to us. He seemed annoyed with questions. My brother was visiting from out of town and we had money to spend. Shameful really, since all of the Esplanade shops are eager to talk to you and help you. Great ambiance, cool imports, but this guy obviously didn't want our money. We left and spent hundreds at other shops in the area.

I would like to give this a zero, but I can't do that, so I gave it a one. Incredibly poor customer service. Their website is not at all clear with respect to the delivery requirements. Who would order a several hundred pound bookcase only to have it unceremoniously dropped at the top of their 30 foot long driveway? I am a single, elderly woman, and entirely incapable of moving such a monstrosity, not only down my driveway, but into my house. When I called to rectify the situation, I was told that all of these parameters are in the fine print in their terms and conditions. I have purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of furniture in my lifetime, and I've never experienced this kind of ludicrous delivery policy. Not only do I have to pay for the "discounted delivery fee which was 20% over and above the $1,700 price of the bookcase, I have to pay the same amount to send it back. So I am down $700 and nothing to show for it but a frustrating hour with UPS and the so-called customer service desk. This is highway robbery, and I highly recommend people do not purchase from this furniture company.

Pueblo Viejo is a unique shop in Capitola village. I was looking for an angel and wentvto three different shops before I found pueblo....there is a large assortment of unique gifts in this shop. I will be going back again.

Stopped in while window shopping in Capitals. I had no intention of buying anything but once inside I saw a million things I wanted. Such lovely art and at an affordable price. We ended up leaving with two big art pieces for the wall and several gifts.

Ordered a bed back in November 2019 and it is now March 2020 with no bed and no refund. Have emailed and called numerous times and only to be told a refund will be applied;however, it has been more than a month and still waiting on that refund. Horrible service online and in store.

We went to Pueblo Viejo Imports. The folk art from Mexico is very nice. We enjoyed seeing the store and will consider a purchase.

This shop is gorgeous!! Has so many unique home decor with a Spanish flare! The shop owners are hospitable and though we stopped by during the capitola wine stroll, we came back and bought a lovely key holder. The pricing is actually very reasonable for the items they carry! I wish I would have taken more pictures to showcase everything they have to offer

Beautiful shop with imported gorgeous one of a kind Items. I found a lot of beautiful items and the prices of furniture and wall art were not that expensive for Capitola. What a nice shop with a flare of unique items. Everything was well made and handcrafted. I loved the large sun that lit up.... hmm still thinking about getting it.
