They had everything I wanted for my lawn work needs. It was all reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly and checkout was easy. They even offered to take things out to my car. Great customer service!

I love this store for kitchen items as well as all other construction and garden supplies. They have what you might have gotten at Bed Bath and Beyond for the kitchen and bath before, but their items are not as expensive!

Glad the chain has been revived and OSH id back in business. The stores do not have everything that the big boxes stores do, but they usually have what you need in a nicer environment.

We are eating at the IHOP and I see a hardware store. Naturally I had to go check it out. This place had most home improvement and problem solving parts for your home. I was amazed to see so many products in the store. The only thing not included was a lumber yard. I don't think most homeowners are concerned with that

I drove past Home Depot to give my money to OSH. Inside picking up lots of small things in the electrical department and hardware, placing the items in my cloth bag I brought inside, instead of buying one at the checkout stand. While on my way back to get grass seed and fertilizer, was informed by a OSH employee that I could not carry my own bag in that I would have to immediately take it to the front of the store. This makes no sense other than to sell bags at checkout. So, instead of getting the rest of the items I wanted, I did as the male employee demanded and walked straight up to the checkout. Note I am a 70 year old well-dressed man. I'm not going to be so petty to say I'll never shop here again. However, I will say it does not make sense, nor did it make me feel warm and fuzzy towards OSH.

Still requiring customers to provide an ID with a credit card! Unbelievable! Why bother with the hassle! I'll just go to another another store that has self serving check out stations! No way to treat a customer who has been coming to businesses in this same building for over 40 years!

I hadn't been in awhile but I saw that they had some deck storage boxes outside so I went in to check them out. Everything is cleaned well-stocked, and whatever they did to rearrange the store makes it look about twice as big inside. Everyone that helped me was super helpful and friendly.They didn't have the box I wanted in stock so Dave looked and found some at other stores. I called back in a couple days and they told me that they were in a store in SJ. Though I was a little entitled (but shut the Karen down posthaste) about not wanting to drive over the hill, so they said they would be able to get it for me in Capitola. I actually found a wood one that was about half the price online and was going to call them, but I got a call that the other one was in. Dang, everyone was so friendly and helpful, and likely went out of their way to get it, I really felt terrible to have to tell them I bought one already. I'll definitely shop there again and recommend them highly.

Clean and well stocked hardware store. While it won't have everything bigger chain supply stores may have, it's at least cleaner, less chaotic, and has just as good of brands. The pricing is less competitive but at least checking out is easy compared to the wait in HD that can happen. So depending on how much time I have I might come here instead. Parking is way easier too.

I really like this store. The staff is helpful in finding what I'm looking for and I always find what I need. They have a variety of everything! There's plenty of parking. They always ask for ID when using a credit card. At first, I was put off by this. But, it's to ensure against fraud. I like that.

My family and I are thrilled to have the “new” OSH back! So much more pleasant than the chaos ofHome Depot. Over the last year or so, we’ve encountered a couple of rude orunknowledgeable “floor staff”, but more recently they seem to be gone.We got great assistance and service the last several visits.I don’t generally compare prices, but even if I found out that they were more expensive than Home Depot or SLL, I’d still patronize OSH!* But please cut back or eliminate the sale of toxic herbicides and pesticides, such as Round Up. Let it be OSH to take a stand for the hood of everything and everyone.

Not a great experience. The cashiers were barking orders at the shoppers when they were trying to sign up for the rewards program. The manager, Bridget, was very rude to the cashiers who needed help and to me. It was a tense experience.
