Matt is one of the top lenders here in Santa Cruz, but don't let the area code fool you, his team can lend in most places. Matt came to the rescue when my buyers were in contract using a different lender here in town and we were on the verge of having to cancel and break our contract. We got a referral to reach out to Matt, and boy are we glad we did because he SAVED OUR DEAL! My buyers just closed on their first home and are beyond happy Matt could make it happen for them. Matt treats each realtor/client as if he is only working for them and communicates every step of the way and always responds quickly and swiftly. Matt is very pro-active and forward-thinking, and that, to me, is vital when working with a mortgage lender. Matt took the time to understand where we were at, make sure everything was done accurately, and was quick to move the process along. The refinance we did with Matt not long after our original mortgage saved us thousands, and he proactively started that process with us. That shows me he looks at the market and is aware of his clients. Highly recommend.
