“El Toro market has all your small store needs from milk, soda, tortillas and a great carniceria (meat counter). On Tuesday/Thursday they have ninety nine cents tacos. For ninety nine cents you can get a carne asada, al pastor or chicken taco with all the fixings! We recommend the al pastor or carne asada tacos with both green and red salsa.”
“I love having a local Asian market. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. Keep in mind it's a small neighborhood store so you're gonna find a lot of basics. If you're looking for something very special out of the ordinary, you may not find it there. But the store owners seems to be very accommodating if you ask for something. I will definitely keep shopping there and support small business.”
“They sell delicious orange juice made fresh in the store. They also have beautiful fruits and vegetables, a salad bar, delicious soups and I see people come in just to buy a sandwich and other food items for lunch. They have a large assortment of nuts, candies, snacks, breads, etc. They have quite an assortment of wines and lovely plants for sale. They may charge a litte more, however, this store is very clean, products are attractively displayed and their employees are friendly and helpful. Even though it is not close to home, I enjoy visiting this store often.”

“Herman is such a sweet and knowledgeable man. Definitely got the family vibes when my mom and I visited the store. He answered all of our questions and cracked jokes with us to bring our spirits up as we had just suffered a loss in the family days prior. Definitely worth a visit if you want fresh meat and a new friend who won't steer you in the wrong direction.”
“Clean store, lots of variety, friendly employees and best of all, GREAT BARGAINS!! Their bargains are actual bargains and not mark up/mark down shenanigans. I find lots of brand name items, keto snacks, socks, drinks, you name it. As with any bargain store, just be mindful of expiry dates for some items. All that said, my advice is to just go and check it out for yourself. You'll probably run into me since I'm always there!”
“My Friend Kassandra is an avid daily shopper here at aldi and she recommended i come because of the low prices and great quality and ever since that recommendation, i haven't looked back, i even buy my clothes and school supplies here and soon i will create my own business and if its even half as good as Aldi, i know i'll be successful and take over the beautiful town if Lake Elsinore baby!”

“I'm so happy that I found this store! I've had a hard time figuring out which items are eligible for WIC at the larger grocery store chains like Albertsons, however, MNC makes it simple. I love that you can order online or their app and just pick up your groceries. It makes it easy for moms who have children in the car. The produce is great quality and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I'll be coming here once a month to use my WIC benefits.”
“This is my favorite pie place! The pies are baked fresh daily and they have a great selection. And…they always have free samples of a couple of their freshly baked pies. My favorite are berry pies and my ultimate favorite is boysenberry, which is super hard to find. Tiffany was so sweet and gave me a call when they had an extra boysenberry pie. For my son’s birthday, I picked up a strawberry rhubarb pie and it had just come out of the oven. It was such a treat! They also have gluten free and vegan options, which are also very delicious. You’ve got to try it!”

“Been shopping here for decades ever since it was called Ortega Oaks market. Nice owners who appreciate your business. Their meat department is the best anywhere and many freshly-made salsas and guacamole's are not to be missed. Some departments are not as extensively stocked as the big-name grocers, but I usually find what I came in for. I would rather support locally-owned businesses like Lake Elsinore Market than send my money to some conglomerate in another state. As long as they are here, I'll be returning often.”

“I almost don't want to post this but Canyon Lake Market is the local little hidden gem. The ladies at the sandwich/burrito counter are awesome. They are ALWAYS there and friendly (really all the staff is friendly). It's a tiny market but they seem to have everything we are looking for. The burritos are the bomb and HUGE!!!! Definitely worth a trip if you haven’t shopped here. Oh! The meats are great too.”
