I've been coming here for over 15 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Have always had great service. Dr. Mike is awesome along with Dr. Stewart and all the vet techs. I feel my fur babies are always taken care of. Also a big shout out to all the girls behind the counter. They are extremely busy with a room full of barking dogs, phones ringing non-stop, and they handle everything with professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend them for all your pets needs.

Dr. Mark was great! So was the sweet girl that helped him. My Diesel feels so much better. I've been going to CLAC for over 30 years! Only place I take my animals!

Nice staff, they treat the animals well. Be prepared to wait when you come in, even with an appointment, but their prices are good, so it's worth it. My only complaint is between the back staff and front staff they usually mess up the paperwork, such as not receiving your prescription, or shot records, etc. Especially if you come with more than one pet, something will probably get left out, which requires an extra drive to get it. Overall, I am very happy with them.

We got my Daughter's kitten his first shots here. It was a small wait and the visit was really fast. The veterinary tech was great at giving the shot quick and painless. No complaints and a overall great experience. Thank you

Everyone at Canyon Lake Veterinary Hospital is so kind and compassionate. We take both of our dogs there. We recently had to put down our beloved border collie and the staff and vet were so kind. Our older small dog has numerous medical needs and the vet was very helpful and explained everything so we could come up with the best care plan. Thank you so much.

I totally screwed up and had to flake out on my appointment. This place has top-shelf service all around at a fair price

We’ve been coming here for 10+ years. The service has gone downhill since Dr. Robertson sold it. Today we waited well over an hour just to get into a room. Then almost another hour in the room being seen and waiting for bloodwork. There were 2 vets and multiple techs working. Absolutely no reason for the delay.

I take all my pets , 2 cats and 3 dogs to Canyon Lake Animal Clinic. They treat you like family and help you make the decisions in the care of your pet. I recommend making them your favorite vet too.

This was my first time at this animal clinic. Despite how busy they were, all the staff were very kind and attentive, and they took their time. They were patient & compassionate with my extremely anxious dog. I’m very grateful.

They wanted to change me $55 dollars for an “exam” where the doctor didn’t even touch my dog , just listened while I described symptoms, hardly glanced at her while I speaking. The staff misplaced her discharge paperwork so waited an extra 30 minutes for them to reprint just to be able to pay and leave.I won’t be retuning to this clinic they have gone downhill the last several years

We have been bringing our pets here since the late 90s but since Dr. Robertson retired, the place has really gone downhill. I've had to wait for hours because they've misplaced our file and kept taking patients before us. They also double book patients and prioritize their vaccination clinic above office visits. Whenever we have to call, we're greeted with, "Thank you for calling Canyon Lake Animal Clinic, please hold." You may or may not get a living person back on the phone, more often than not, you'll just get hung up on. Most recently, my cat needed a prescription and a week had passed after I had to submit it to an online pharmacy because the office didn't have it in stock (not for the first time or the first medication) and I reached out to the pharmacy to ask why it was still in the verification phase, the vet wasn't returning their calls or emails. So I had to call the vet, was put on hold of course, asked why the medication wasn't being verified yet and was told that someone was supposed to have been taking care of it, was put on hold again, and finally informed that it was now taken care of. My husband has to go pick up the scrip when they said they didn't have the medication, then my cat continued to be without medicine for a week after I placed the order. Animals are no longer a priority here and it's really sad to see the business and community that Dr. Robertson built lose all of the personal touch and excellent service it used to be known for.
