My son and I are heartbroken. I was there on the morning of 01/05/21. My son had left a silver dollar on the kitchen table, I saw it picked it up and used it at the Woodland Liquor store. Not realizing it was my son's given to him by his grandfather. Later my son asked about his silver dollar, told me his story about the coin recently given to him. The coin is not valuable other than to my son, for sentimental reasons. He is completely devastated & heartbroken. I went back to Woodland Liquor store to see if they had it. They contacted the morning clerk who said no one gave him a silver dollar. They accused me of not spending it at their store & lying. I could understand if they no longer had it (it was my fault ) but to go to the point where they accused me of lying. I hope keeping a little boys memorabilia of his grandfather was worth it. Also I know I gave the coin to the clerk at approximately 10:45 AM. I request the owner of the store to contact me, it is not acceptable to accuse me of lying & treat me poorly when I know where & when I used it. I went there in an effort to Retrieve the coin in good faith and I was treated horribly!
