Phyllis was very patient with all the questions we had since it's our first time getting braids for my kids. We had a nice time talking to her while waiting for my kids getting there hair braided. We definitely will be coming back.

She totally overbooked so she could not do my hair at the designated time, which was infuriating as I cleared my business just to make the appt. I as a true business owner who always put clients first was very dissatisfied lucky I found another business that took me right away, and she was very pleased with my tip as well

Always late, don't plan on appointment being on time, at least two to three hours late every time. My braids fell out the same day, and please watch when your hair is getting done because what you ask for is not what you get. It's always great to hear small businesses stories about success and pioneering the community. But when the service lacks quality and service, I'm sorry I can't waste my time and money. Great story there, great history, just need new stylist with quality service.Service: Braids

Was in the area and needed my hair braided. I had an appt at another salon but the stylist was a no call no show. I called this salon and spoke with Phyllis to set up an appointment for the same day. She asked me what I needed done and said I could come in later that day. I came in, was greeted, she finished up with a client, got me in the chair and my hair turned out amazing! She gave me the exact style I asked for, and was done in exceptional time. Wonderful place, great vibes, highly recommend!

Phyllis is amazing. She was very gentle when braiding my hair, and was such a great person to talk to. I was trying out a new style and she answered all my questions and gave great advice. After living here for a bit over a year, I'm so glad to have found Phyllis. She's absolutely lovely, interesting to talk to and knows what she's doing. I got my usual 2 braids but she suggested we do something different next time and I'm happy to let her take the lead.
