High quality service at a fair price. George took care of me from start to finish and was able to repair my Jaguar quickly and efficiently. This shop is clean and dependable as you would expect with these high quality vehicles!

Previously whenever I needed servicing on my 2006 XK8 Jaguar Roadster, I had taken it to Galpin motors. My car has a grand total of 35,000 original miles on it. This thing is my baby. So the only thing it has needed has been fluid changes a set of windshield wipers and a set of tires. Each time I have gone into Galpin , I always get the squeeze for more$$ money. Like the last time I went to get the oil changed, I was told I needed a new set of tires. This set only has 16,000 miles on them. They are pristine as the day I purchased them. When I pointed that out to the Galpin Pirate his reply was,"Yeah, but they're still old!"A Buddy recommended Steve's Jaguar. They did everything I asked them to look into. There was no attempt to gouge me out of any extra money. No more Galpin rip offs. I'm going to trust the experts at Steve' Jaguars from now on. The place looks like a Jaguar museum . So if you'd repair is minor or a complete restoration Steve's Jaguar is the place to go to and do so with confidence that you're in good hands.

I was debating to write this review for days but when my engine light came on this morning, after being serviced just last week, I decided to write about my experience at Steve's Jaguar. This was my second time taking the car to this shop. Despite the experience I had the last visit: I had 3 issues that time. Number 1 being some white chemical dripping down my back window that not only was not cleaned off when I got the car back from the shop, but would not even come off when I took the car to be washed And detailed. Second was: I got an estimate for over $4000 which included changing the the rotors and break pads. Since the amount was so high, I thought they would do all 4. They only did the front 2. And third issue was Steve driving my car home at the end of the day, without telling me beforehand. It is the owner's right to know and give permission prior to such activity. Despite all this and against tha little-tiny voice inside my head, I took the car back to him for service and the rear breaks. While they test drove the car, a hose broke. The office manager called me, almost apologetic, and told me I had to pay another $1200 to fix that. According to Steve, I should have been grateful that it happened while he was driving. Well, I'm not. I don't know what they did or how the hose broke but I know that test drive was over 100 miles. They might not keep track of my odometer, but I do. All and all he is rude, way too expensive and they don't do the job they are supposed to. I would not recommend.

Went there to get an estimate on repair for my XJS. Sounded reasonable. So I went for it. George said that his fist appointment was 2-weeks out since his mechanic is taking some personal time off. So I booked it. But when I went there to drop the car off 2-weeks later, George said, "Hey man, I'm sorry that forgot to call you. We decided that we don't t want to work on your car." WOW! I waited 2-weeks for NOTHING. What a TOTAL waste of time. These guys are very unprofessional. Based on how few cars I saw in the service bays being worked on, this shop is probably on its last legs before closing its doors for good.

So my vintage Jaguar XJ8 gets towed into Steve's Jaguar over in Canoga Park...not sure why Jaguar doesn't give a free tow truck with every car purchase, but that's another story. Not being at the repair facility when my car got towed in, I explained to George on the phone how my loving Jag performed amazingly coming home at 5 A.M. from an after hours vampire bar downtown, then decided to shut off right as we pulled into our driveway. I highly recommend you take loving care of your car too, she might just give something back in return like breaking down right as you arrive home...I swear these Jags have actual souls! So, I called AAA and arranged for a tow and in less than 24 hours Steve's had the job completed, which was quite a time consuming job. I was shocked, but as soon as my Uber pulled up to Steve's, I saw more Jag XKE's parked out front than a Los Angeles Jaguar dealership in 1967, a couple million dollars worth of British dreams all in a row. Mechanics don't get clients bringing those to you unless you know what the hell you are doing, and the guys at Steve's are Jag experts. As was my guess (us car nuts know our baby's like a Momma knows her 1 month old) he replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, topped of some fluids (all Jaguars leak oil, darling) ordered a few extra parts, and drumroll...a few extras he comped that I noticed immediately getting into the car and appreciated beyond words...the kind of thing old school respectable and trustworthy mechanics did for their clients (hell, Jaguar owners are clients, not customers). If you are one of those Cali cats that want to complain about the repair costs, then why the hell did you buy a Jaguar? Maybe Jaguar owners thin out their wallets on occasion, however, rolling down the road in those curvy, low slung British sex machines with the smell of Connoly leather drifting through the cabin is worth one hundred repairs. Yeah, the Brits struggled on mechanical convenience, but Jags, like an incredible woman, are beautiful, sexy, mysterious, complicated and turn every head as they enter the room, or in this case, drive down the road. You might say I'm a sucker, but then you probably never rolled up in valet in a vintage XJ or XKE and looked like not only a million dollars, but a CLASSY million dollars. Go to Steve's...those dudes driving those $100,000-$200,000 XKE's don't play games! THANK YOU STEVE's for taking such great care of my baby. My old girl is not an XKE, but a girl can always dream behind her burl wood dash and an ass wrapped in sumptuous Connolly leather! Tip: Once you get that Jag, find a cheap, but dependable local tow truck driver and become really good friends with him...I'd recommend inviting him over for beers and burgers...you'll thank me one day!

Called and he did not seem interested at all in taking me as a client. Acted like he was bothered I even called to ask about my Jaguar. I don't need to go to a place that seems annoyed that you are calling and say" I can't even look at it until weeks from now anyways." That might be true, but maybe seem like you want the business.

Top quality service, good to a see that there is a local garage that really know Jaguars, and can fix them. I’m from England originally and the standard of their work is better than I have experienced over the pond. Would highly recommend ?Services: Steering & suspension repair

I brought my first Jaguar to Steve’s about 10 years ago. Galpin Jaguar told me during an oil change that I needed Breaks ? Funny, I wasn’t there for breaks. “ It would only be $1200.00 “ for FRONT breaks..I told them that I didn’t have time that day, but thanks. ??That’s where Steve’s comes in.Being a worried Mom I wanted a second opinion so I found Steve and his team and had them checked out.No Galpin!!! I didn’t need breaks! ? Go screw someone else!Steve has Always been fair and honest.
