PET VET Granary Square AKA: Animal Medical Center Valencia We have been going to Animal Medical Center for 30 years since Dr. Graywal owned it. For the last 15 years Dr Oh and Dr Kim have care for our animals. I contacted the office on Monday August 5th, to tell them my Aspen who had gone blind and deaf over the last few years, (age 15 )was in distress. She had not urinated since 5 pm the day before. I had tried stimulating her with warm water but it had not worked. She also had been progressively collapsing. I kept telling Victoria I thought her time had come and could Dr Oh see her. I was told repeatedly he was too booked up. There was no way he had any time to see her. I began crying asking her to let me speak with him. She put me on hold, came back and said the soonest would be the next day with a new doctor,I begged Victoria crying, ( she was on speaker phone and my husband heard heard everything) that I didn't want a new doctor to euthanize her,I told her Aspen time was here and I needed to confirm with him it was time. It fell on deaf ears. This treatment however was not the first time this had happened. Several months ago I need him to see my Chance who had cancer and had surgery that he wasn't well I began getting the same message....Dr is too booked has no time, just take him to the ER. We don't have an ER in the Valencia area. Justin the office manager came to the phone, he told me the same, we are too busy go to the ER. Beware and be careful what their policy is if you have a pet crisis on your hands DURING BUSINESS HOURS. All these years of seeing him with multiple animals, and when I needed them, they were too busy. I wrote him a text and notified him I would find a new vet. Never heard a word from anyone in that office. My Aspen was put to sleep at home by a companionate doctor who came to the house. In Dr Oh's practice there is no time for compassion because they are too busy when you have an emergency. I have found a new vet to take Chance to. S. Simon Since posting this on Next Door, many people have remarked about similar treatment And or expedience. What good is a good Vet if when your dog is ill or dying they won't see you???! Beware, ask questions before you book an appointment.

I've been coming to Pet Vet for nearly 12 years now - going back to when Dr. Beeter was there. I see many are commenting on overpricing, and while I agree the prices have gone up - I have had a great experience with the staff (especially Marianna - front desk, sorry if I misspelled your name). And, our dog's Vet has been amazing too. Look guys - everywhere is expensive nowadays. Yes, you may find a cheaper Vet and kudos to you if they take great care of your pet - like Pet Vet does!! It's all about the comfort level we have w/ Pet Vet. They have always taken good car of my dog, Yogi, especially recently when he had a major infection that required surgery. Speaking of surgery, had we taken Yogi to have this surgery at another Emergency Vet Hospital, the cost would have been double. 5 stars all around!!

Scam! Nothing but unnecessary treatment, procedures, tests, and medications, all at inflated rates. Dishonest, low skill vet that doesn't care about your animal, just the upsell. Scumbags.

My friend referred me to this animal hospital when I first got my fur baby at 4 weeks. He is now 7 years old. Dr. Brown, the then owner and Dr. Gueta and Dr. Kirzenbaum are awesome. The staff here are amazing. Every time I needed to bring my Wyatt in, Marianna makes sure he gets seen. What I also like about this place is the option that they give me on whether I want to do tests or wait. They don't push me to buy meds from them. They let me choose whichever place I can get flea medicine cheaper. Overall, I am happy with Pet Ver and I highly recommend them.

My dad went in and he only spoke Spanish and he said one of the younger female workers there was very kind and patient with him when he was explaining what was going on with our dog. She was very sweet with our family dog, thank you for your kindness!

We love Dr. Kirszenbaum and Pet Vet! They take great care of our dogs. They have gotten to know us on a personal level which makes our decision making much more important when caring for our dogs. I recommend going to Pet Vet if you need to care for your pets!!

Great experience. Brought our pup in, they were able to see us almost immediately. Service was really good, doc explained all and gave us the options of what we wanted to do. Needless to say, pour pup is on her way back to full health!

After repeated visits over the years to the VCA clinics. I recently took my dog to Pet Vet. My dog and I literally had the best vet experience we have ever had. We were seen in a very timely manner, so my dog had almost zero anxiety shivers. I was able to witness the staff and Dr. that were knowledgeable, super sweet and genuinely cared about the wellbeing of the animals there. I was not upsold on random meds, procedures or visits my dog wouldn't be needing. I greatly appreciate the care and attention we received, I left happy and my dog left healthy.

I needed vaccines and an exam for my dog. I called two days ago and after being put on hold for a while a receptionist named Mariana told me she could send me an estimate by 4:00pm (I called at 10am) I checked my email at 5:00pm and noticed I had not received anything so I called again. Mariana told me she had been busy and promised to send the estimate the folllowing morning. Again, the whole day went by and I did not receive anything. I called her at 4:00pm and she sort of gave me an attitude and said she was bearly checking her paperwork and said she would send it later. At that point I was already annoyed and told her that if they were too busy and could not take my dog she could just tell me and I could look for another vet. Her response was "So are you going to want me to email you the estimate or not" I told her that if she was really going to do it sure that it was fine. I normally don't leave reviews but I thought it was necessary because they are not doing me a favor, I am going to pay for those services. I was surprised to be treated this way because they have been great in the past but I guess it's time to move somewhere else. All I want is for my dog to be taken care of but obviously not here!

All about the money ?. Using the shock method to clients. Proclaim to know what is happening with my pet even though they did not receive test results yet, will be even more money then.
All just padding for Paying for the owners South of the Blvd home & expenses.

Another place that try to take your money in any way they can!
Stay away
I call to make sure I don't need blood work to renew my dog allergy medication that he takes on and off in the past year
They said no! I just need to pay for a visit
I schedule a time, i walk in ( my dog very stressed in the vet and he is shaking)
With my dog
And a few minutes after I'm there -the same lady I spoke with her on the phone
" I just want to tell you that I spoke with the doctor and he will have to do blood work,"
And I'm like ok first I call specifically for that and you told me there's no need for blood work
And you waited that I'll come here to tell me
You know you can call
Anyway, stay away

We've been taking our dogs to Pet Vet for the past 20 years since it was Dr. Brown's practice. I now see Dr. Kirszenbaum and am very happy. She is very thorough and always listens to your concerns. She does not try and upsell anything! You receive an estimate of what was discussed and you are not pressured in any way to accept the services, it's completely your decision to make. Have the prices gone up? Yes, but prices have gone up EVERYWHERE. They are always willing to price match meds etc., you just have to ask. The entire staff is very friendly and competent, which is hard to come by these days. Our 3 dogs have had wonderful care over the years and I will continue to use Pet Vet.
