I have used these guys many times and have always found Steve and Matt to be very helpful. The communication and follow up has always been excellent even when, almost at the last minute, I have changed the schedule and/or load. The drivers have been punctual, accommodating and professional. The loads have always been what I asked for. I recently had three loads delivered within a 13 day period and it could not have been a smoother process. If concrete is needed in the SFV Steve is my go to guy because I know that he takes care of that end of the job in a professional and efficient manner.

Just like the other reviews, I was charged a delay time without notice. The communication between them and the concrete contractor I hired was disgusting and a horrible experience. Even though this review won't matter because they'll always have customers that need concrete, Steve ; the manager at the location should know how to treat his PAYING customers better. First and last time I'll ever use this concrete company. F- satisfaction

I'm not sure who is in charge of scheduling but this company was hired to fill something in the pit down the street from my apartment (N Hudson Ave + Melrose Ave). They showed up and started making a ton of noise at 7:00 in the morning, 1 hour before they are allowed to due to noise ordinances. They blocked off our entire street all day with concrete trucks and made it very difficult to be in and out of my apartment. Not only did they show up too early violating noise ordinances, it is also Halloween today which adds to how in poor taste this scheduling is. This company desperately needs to learn to be considerate of the neighborhoods they work in, the way they handled this work is completely unacceptable.

This company delivered a truckload of concrete and it was poorly coordinated with their Pumper. I have been charged 2.5$ a MINUTE for delay time, total 220$, When I did call the corporate office and spoke to the collection manager at 818 7285200, He stated that nothing he can do about the charges, but what frustrated me the most is an abrupt tone of voice and constant interruption of the Collection Manager. Also, It has never been disclosed to me as a customer that we need to pay for "Delay charges" even though they are not caused by me. Be Aweare of this company.

Just got 6 yards from these guys and once again it was perfect. The employees are take care of business guys who don't waste time on chit chat, yet are very professional. We have been dealing with National for many years and they have never let me down. When I read the reviews I was startled because that's not who I'm dealing with. If you know your material and order correctly, that's what they are going to deliver. These guys are very good and I appreciate having them as my concrete vendor.

This place has zero respect for their neighboring houses. They make Construction noises all night to 5 am. Shows what kind of place this is. Zero respect, must match their customer service. ?If you live near by as well and always hearing trucks, drilling, etc here is the source!!

This company delivered a truck load of concrete to my home but didn't coordinate with their Pumper to also arrive. The first Pumper never arrived so they had to call another. So, the concrete went "hot" and bad waiting for the their Pumper and they had to waste it and bring a new batch an hour or so later. The new batch of concrete was delivered very "Wet" which I guess was a precaution, for their benefit, so the concrete would last longer and not go Hot. Every concrete guy on the job site said the concrete was too "Wet" as it was being pumped. I called "Matt" at the company (National Ready Mixed Concrete) to inform him the concrete was too wet right away. Matt seemed to be more interested, as he indicated, to another customer who called in after I called him and to place an order. He placed me on hold for a while. I indicated to him when he returned, "Yeah, I already placed an order and there might be a problem with the concrete". He reviewed the work order and said the concrete was delivered as "4." ... the number represents the level of water in the concrete I am told. He assured me that the concrete is fine and well within accepatable water levels. I then felt it would be okay, because of what Matt said, but then I later indicated this rating of "4" to several concrete workers and they laughed and said "No way is this a 4." The receipt I have indicates preprinted warming, "Excessive water is Detrimental to Concrete Performance." On this receipt, the driver indicates he added no water and no one was asked to sign for the shipment. Not sure how this project will turn out and whether I'll have cracking because of the excessive water in the concrete, time will tell. If the concrete goes bad and cracks, removal and replacing it will be a lot of money and maybe more important, a lot of time. Based on Matt seemingly more interested, as he indicated to me he was, to assist a customer with a new order rather than assist me my old order,... and the fact that he said the concrete was a "4" and concrete workers on the site who've been dealing with concrete for decades said the concrete was not a "4",... and the fact that the driver for the company didn't have anyone approve the concrete, they just started pouring, I would not recommend this company.
