So I went to see family xmas week in california and my cousin and I went to the mall she needed some things from Mac and omg I had such an amazing experience the young and beautiful lady that helped us was amazing so sweet if I could give her 100 stars I would she was so much fun she had awesome energy I felt like she was one of my girlfriends she was so helpful I would definitely recommend her to anyone who need color matching or just needs anything from Mac to visit her her name is Velinda you don't know much I appreciated her

Came in here and wasn't really looking to buy anything because I wanted to look at the latest things. Danny! Was so wonderful assisting me! Helped me with the new lip gloss famous on TikTok! Also pointed out the 50% off for the holiday specials and went ahead and purchased it for the hell of it! PS. His make up was beeeeeeeeat to death hunty! Yassssssss! Looooves it!Thank you Danny for making my experience so amazing!

Customer service is wonderful! The manager, Sloane, assisted me with a return! She went above and beyond to contact extra support to assist me! She was kind throughout our interaction, communicated well, and was persistent in finding a solution to the challenge we had in processing the retun (it was a technical challenge and not a reflection on the store or company)! She did not stop to help me! Sloane is really a person of service and maintained a great attitude from start to finish!

Terrible customer service. I walked into the store and nobody even bothered to say hello to me. I went up to one of the employees to ask a question, and she ignored me and helped another customer instead. She was short with long black hair. Do not recommend. I never go into MAC stores, I thought I might try today---definitely regret it.

This review is for DOMENICA SUNDAY, who helped me today while I was shopping at the store. She was so helpful and friendly! She knew exactly how to alleviate the concerns I was having. It was such a relief to have someone there who truly cared. She was knowledgable, professional, and super friendly. She gave me some life-long insider tips I had no idea about, that will enhance my shopping experience forever. I congratulate MAC for having such a gem on their team! To start off, I'm a straight guy. And I did not expect the experience to be as wholesome as it was. I walked in (2/10/2023) and I knew nothing about makeup, and a super kind lady was more than happy to help me out and show me what's for what, and how to apply what. To reiterate, it was an incredibly wholesome experience to not only learn about makeup for cosplay, but for everyday use as well. The staff never treated me any different from their usual guests, and I really respect that. A+ for customer service. I'll definitely be coming back here again :)

Terrible terrible. Terrible. Make sure you ask them if the item is backordered because they will fail to tell you that it is. They also will tell you that it will only take a small amount of time to arrive to you and then they will change the days to 50 something days. Hope you don't need your make up that quick because that's what happens here. Also, your money will get lost. If you pay cash they will attempt to give you back a check by mail when you decline they will say they have to ask the supervisor and then we'll never ever contact you back. This is our third time back to the store to try to resolve this issue and it is still not resolved If you would like this to happen to you please come to this location and ask for Dominic Love your products, but please hire new people

After having an incredibly unpleasant experience at the Mac in Nordstrom I decided to pop in here for the first time. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Dominique. She was attentive, helpful, friendly and hilarious. I popped in for an eyeliner and wound up with a bag full of product. I will definitely be back because of her amazing customer service- refreshing to say the least!

Omg where do I even begin, I looovvveeee Josh. Came here they don't do 1 hour make up anymore they do 15 min, but I stayed longer so Josh ended up doing my whole face every chance he had after he helped out customers. He's very knowledgeable knows everything about the brand every lipstick to shadow to mascara. He was very helpful n sweet just amazing attitude n personality. I was going to a wedding that I wasn't super excited about but after he did my make up I couldn't wait to go! He's a magician he completely transformed my face. I don't have eyebrows n he made me have Kim kardashian brows I'm blown away. His hands r so soft I felt like I was getting a face massage. I got sooooo many compliments on my make up from my u er driver, my neighbors, everyone at the wedding I mean he just made me feel like a dream girl I can't even put it into words. I'm so grateful for him he really made my day and helped me out soooo much with all the products that I needed! He should be a manger n running the place because he's just that good with everyone that came in not just me. I don't know why this place has such bad reviews because again I had an amazing experience from calling to book the appointment to Josh to the whole time I was there he was amazing obviously and everyone who worked there were great too! I'll definitely be going bk n telling everyone about this place n Josh of course :)

This store has the worst Customer Service ever! I walk in the store to get color matched. One makeup artist doing makeup on a lady, the employee at the register helping a client. No one said hello, no one said I'll be with you in just a moment. I kept passing my the artist and the lady getting her makeup done, and the artist clearly saw me waiting but didnt bother to acknowledge me. I stand by the register and THAT employee acts like he dont see me. Another lady comes in the store after me and gets helped right away by the employee at the register... he saw me too that ive been waiting to get helped, and he side-eyed me, like i didnt see him just attend to the other lady. I spoke to the artist and asked her if there was anyone else working there, she said with attitude, no, its just the two of them. I told her i been waiting and a lady comes after me and she gets helped before i do. Then she huffs and puffs because now she needs to stop what shes doing to help me. I told her its ok dont worry about it and i walked away. I felt discriminated. Their customer service is horrible. Who hires that quality of employees? I walked over to Sephora instead and the best service i could have ever gotten by a guy there (didnt catch his name). Maybe MAC staff should have training in customer service before they get hired, and also learn from Sephora staff.

So - this brand... is a heartbreaker. ANYone who's a fan of this (originally Canadian, top-shelf) make-up brand that 15 years ago was at the TOP of every A-List make-up artist's go-to... (BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST.... and if you've never tried their lipsticks or lipglass or highlight creme or eyeshadows... WHAT are you WAITING FOR??!) ... ALSO KNOWS that little by little (since being bought out by 'blah' brand Estee Lauder)- all our favorites have one by one been 'discontinued'. AND YET... they still manage to come out with a few rockstar products every year... and SOMEtimes the 'oldies but goodies' re-appear (Spice lip pencil, Pearl highlight, O lipstick... and OOOOO those LipGlass sticks!!)... SO I made a trek out to the nearest Pro shop ... and PRAYED. THIS STORE. Immaculate, lovely, fun (even the soundtrack was super yum)... and the gal running the store on this Saturday Night? Kasie - who was AMAZING ... She patiently went thru breaking out 6 brand new lipsticks (they'd run out of decent 'testers' on the ones I wanted to try) and handing me make up swipes so I could keep trying em on... and between the two of us we decided on the right colors. PLUS - I brought in 18 'used old' products - and got 2 of my lipsticks and one of my glosses - FREE (the "Back To Mac" recycle program thank god is still up n running). I swear I left happier than if I'd gotten a complete make-over (which, in a sense, I did). OH - and when I asked for a product I loved they were out of (big surprise :) - she graciously referred me OVER TO SEPHORA to pick up what I needed (they had it!). Now THAT'S CLASS. What else can I say? Management: PROMOTE KASIE - I spent WAY more than I intended because she was a joy to figure out what I wanted with... This store was such a refreshing surprise. Will DEFINITELY be back. CALL ahead - they'll pull your favs and save'em for up to 24 hours... AND make suggestions if they're out of something... MUST VISIT.

This place is pretty unprofessional in my opinion. I placed an order online for in store pick up and within a few hours of placing the order, I was sent another email stating that my order had been picked up. I obviously had not picked up the order, so the very next day I went down to the store to see what had happened. I had tried calling the same day but no one answered the phone. When I arrived, there were about three different groups of people waiting outside for the store to open. We all tried the doors but they were locked. I decided to get lunch and wait to see if anyone would arrive. I waited an hour but I had to get back to work. I still have no resolution on my items. I'd like my money back if I can't have the items!

Went to get shade matched the girl DID NOT want to help at all because she was on her phone. she told me and my sister to shade match ourselves then as we left she called us ghetto.

It was store where I shopped the most. Usually by my phone number they could see my membership and all my previous purchases. A week ago I came to buy same item, surprisingly the girl that served me couldn't find any of my information, not by my first or last name, even not by my phone number..so I couldn't buy same item without remembering the code of the product. So I left empty handed..Next day my daughter went to Northridge location and they easily find my information, so she bought for me the item I was looking for earlier.
