I was scammed by Monica and Liberty Tax.She had me pay $300 for her to do my taxes!! That's outrageous!! My previous tax person had me pay just $70. Monica claims the outrageous amount is because it's a "guarantee" that I won't get audited, but so did my previous tax person for cheaper.Cons:- it took her 3 days to do my taxes (took my other guy 1 hour)- she kept calling her supervisors about how to file several areas of my tax info (lack of knowledge)- she was very disorganized with my information- She told me that my return wouldn't be as large as last year because of my 1099, but I told her my jobs were the same from last year to this year and the total income was the same as well, so why would I get less of a return? She stuttered and then fixed her mistake.Pros:- She was friendly as all the other reviews have said, but I think it was to put me in a false sense of security in order to con me in the end.When I questioned her on why I had to pay $300 for my tax return, she looked uncomfortable and stuttered again because she knew she was scamming me. I reluctantly paid. I called my friends and family and they agreed I got scammed. They all paid between $60-120 and they had a guarantee too.I wonder if these reviews are real. I warned my family and friends and now I'm warning others by writing this.If you don't take me seriously, at least ask how much you'll have to pay before you get started here. I regret coming to Liberty Tax.

How do I begin? Well I was in a jam because I’ve been making a huge mistake by going to other companies or turbo tax to file my taxes not feeling completely satisfied. I was referred to Monica at Canoga park and she is very knowledgeable leaving me in shock with the work she did for me. She educated me in this confusing tax thing. She did an exceptional job and her attitude is amazing and very welcoming. She has my business for as long as I have to file. Thank you Liberty for having such great person in charge of your office.

When it comes to Tax knowledge I have to give the credit to Monica V Hernandez at the Canoga park office. I’ve been following her since she was in the Panorama and North Hills office. The service she gives you is outstanding paired up with the best impeccable tax knowledge she has. Worth every penny spent. Every person I’ve referred to her, she has rewarded me with $50 it’s a win win with her. I highly recommend coming to the Canoga Park office and asking for her.
