Just found my forever mechanic shop! As a woman that knows nothing about cars finding a mechanic is a nightmare. L.A. Auto Care quoted me a fair price at a fraction that the other shops! They are honest and because of that I will be taking my car here for all future services!

Ace is a very honest and straightforward mechanic! I came for the first time to get my brake pads and rotors replaced and he took a look at the rotors and was able to resurface them rather than requiring them to be replaced. This saved some money on unnecessarily getting new rotors this time. Before he does any work he will check with you and give you a very accurate estimate. After diagnosing any problem he is very transparent about what he found and will make sure to communicate what should be done vs. what may be optional. Recently when my AC stopped working, he was able to take a look at the system and completed a recharge in about an hour. They do get busy, but if you come right when he opens you should be good. They will not overcharge you, but just a note that cash or check is preferred as he will charge a small percent upcharge for using credit.

I came by on a Friday around 11am and their garage doors were closed. I did see the auto shop next door was opened though. I hope it wasn't the same business as giving them 3 stars will make me feel foolish. The garage didn't have any name on it, although I thought it belonged to the auto broker next door. I did call the number listed and it rang once and the voicemail picked up.

This is my mechanic. I won't go any where else. They are the best. Honest, friendly and just everything you want in a mechanic for sure. The work is done with honesty and precision and I dont trust anyone else to work on my car. Ace and Frank are the best.

If you looking for honest and professional, auto mechanic or electrician for your car, I would definitely recommend on this place and I had warning light on my car the guy reset it right away and send me back to the road didn't even charge anything offAsk me to come back only if the light will come back so regardless if it's come back or not, you earn me as a customer definitely will come back with any problem with my car and you should do the same thank you LA auto care

Ace took great care of my Delorean. Most mechanics won't even look/touch it due to how rare it is. Not Ace. Ace fixed my electrical issues and rebuilt my rear brakes in a timely manner. Highly recommend LA Auto Care!!!

After a month and a half of weekly visits to my old mechanic who was unable to help me resolve my car issues, I finally decided to take my car elsewhere. I then had my car looked at by a second mechanic who claimed they could not hear the noises that I described and that my car was "most likely fine"... After reading some very positive reviews online about LA Auto Care, I set up an appointment to bring my car in to Ace and his team. Ace kindly agreed to go on a drive around the block together, so I could point out exactly which sounds seemed concerning. He too was able to hear the unusual sounds. Within less than an hour Ace contacted me and informed me that my car's serpentine belt was way over worn and desperately needed to be replaced. He was able to order and replace the part very quickly and by the end of the day I had my car back and the sound was gone! I am so grateful and will definitely be coming back here in the future.
