Very unprofessional they just don't care. My pay card has expired and have called several tyto get a new one but no one returns my calls. I will need to take a 2 hour bus ride to talk to someone and hopefully see someone. I have discontinued my participation in my study don't want to deal with anymore

Be aware... This is a very sad situation. I am unsure what happened to Hope clinical trials, but their phones have been going to an answering service, and the answering service is not very helpful. When they do answer, they often transfer you to a mailbox that is always full. I have left several messages, but they never return calls. I have two different phone numbers, and they can text me 24 hours a day, and I will receive the message. However, if I want to cancel or change an appointment, it is very difficult. I am not sure what is happening here, but it is very sad, and they need to hire more people or get an answering service that can help people.? I forgot to mention above that I have called 6 to 10 times in one day sometimes for 2 to 3 days, so be careful.. I have a feeling when the clinical trial is over. They just don't care about you anymore, or everyone quit and went elsewhere. Something is going on here ?My appointment was today, and I asked 2 people when I was getting paid.. they said tonight my appointment was at noon it's 9:00 p.m. I didn't have any money on my card the office was full of people and I don't know why they a lot of people they don't have enough people to hire people some so many people need jobs! I do not understand this office, is wrong???

If they had zero rating then I will use that for Hope clinical research. I went to the clinic and waited over an hour to be seen. I kept asking as I told them I do not have time as I was told 20 minutes. My time was not respected and the place was full with people that are coughing. I stood in another room so if you go chances you'll get more sick. The person that took me was rude. My $25 prepaid card is not activated. I left messages and no one ever returned the call. This is definitely a scam. I will call better business bureau, chamber of commerce and will have you shut down.

Very shady, unprofessional and unsafe. Also, as others have said here they do not pay for their trials correctly. This place needs to be shut down.

I recently had an appointment at this clinic, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The primary issue was the unbelievably long wait times.I arrived on time for my appointment but ended up waiting for over 40 minutes before being seen by a healthcare professional. The waiting area was crowded, uncomfortable, and lacking proper ventilation. It's frustrating when you've set aside time for your appointment, and you end up spending most of it just sitting and waiting. While I understand that clinics can sometimes run behind schedule due to unforeseen emergencies or a busy day, this level of wait time was unacceptable. It felt like my time wasn't respected.I hope the clinic management takes this issue seriously and improves their scheduling and organization to reduce wait times for future patients. My time is valuable, and I expected a more efficient and respectful experience.I won't be returning to this clinic unless I hear that these issues have been addressed.

If you actually go in, follow-up in person visits, they are very nice, very professional. If you call to leave a message don't count on hearing back from anyone in a timely manner. I have, over the space of several days left up to 8 phone messages. When I finally get a return call, "oh, someone wrote your number down wrong". EVERY time I call I leave my name, phone number and study I'm involved with, twice! The last time I spoke with someone, oh, we have your next phone visit down for 9/28. I was told several weeks ago that it was 8/29. "You had your last phone visit on 8/17". No, I did not!

I was interested in signing up for a weight loss study with Hope Clinical Research in Canoga Park, California and was told over the phone come in for an appt on Friday, June 2, 2023, to give them a blood sample. They said that if I had the right AC value I would be accepted into the study but that it would take a month or so before they got back to me as to whether or not I would qualify for the study. The person I spoke with also said I would be reimbursed $25 for time/transportation and then, if accepted into the program, I would receive a higher stipend amount for the ongoing office visits. The person that took my blood on the day of the appt told me I'd be receiving the $25 payment that day or at the latest, on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Today is Thursday and when I finally got through to someone in the office after several phone calls and leaving messages, the woman I spoke to informed me that they don't actually pay for the first visit and will only pay for the succeeding visits that take place after you're accepted into the program. They should not be getting away with sleazy business practices like this.
