I am absolutely floored by how I was treated in your store at the Westfield Topanga location on 8/4/24 at 11:20 am. At first, the two workers were very kind to me and explained the shoes very well. The woman (she had bleached hair and a nose ring I believe) then had me try on the doc socks to see how they would fit with the boot I wanted. After I tried them on and they didn’t fit, she said to me, “Oops. Sorry I forgot to tell you that you now have to pay for those.”
That’s completely not transparent or ethical to do that. When I told her that if I had known that then I would not have tried the socks on, she then said to me rudely, “Well, it’s common sense that you don’t try a sock on and return it. It’s common sense.” I thought it was a sample because she just handed it to me or just an extra pair lying around. I left both angry and in tears.
I would have absolutely bought the boots, but they do not deserve the sale from me.

After being completely ignored by the two associates at the empty Van's store downstairs, we walked into a busy Doc Marten's store. We were immediately greeted by an employee named Kelvin who engaged in friendly banter and immediately brought two sizes of the shoe we inquired about, which was needed as the size requested was a bit too small. Kelvin was patient and understanding when the bank locked our debit card and we had to take a moment to verify with bank and complete the purchase. Outstanding and much appreciated customer service.

To the person working on 12/27/23 with black hair and 2 blonde streaks who said "we ask you don't try the shoes on because it will stretch them out"....then what's the store for? Whatever the reason may be the comment was unnecessary and made me feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Not worth the time better to just order from Nordstrom or a bigger retailer than the store itself.

Shopped at Dr.Martens Topanga 2x this weekend. I really want to try the ribbon trend shoe laces and Dr.Martins has a good selection of colors and sizes. I bought 5 pairs for 5 each. A couple years ago I bought my first Dr. Martens here and I still love them sp much! They still look new & are super comfortable. They have so many cute shoes in stock & also a vegan line which I love! Cute vegan bags and shoes. The customer service was perfect both times on Saturday & Sunday when I returned for more ribbon laces.

Stopped in as I needed to replace my laces and price some new shoes. The staff that was there, they were great! Answered all of my questions. And even though I was just buying some laces, they treated me as if I were buying several pairs of shoes. I didn't get the young lady who helped me, name, but she was friendly and funny. I highly recommend them!

went in with my daughter to take a look at getting her new Dr. Martens as she is using my 90s red ones. Well, we were greeted as if it was an offense to even walk in. Idk if it is they were already in a bad mood or what but we left. I would rather order online than feel like I'm an inconvenience.

Really amazing service. The manager, Sarah, spent so much time with my husband and I to get the perfect shoe and the perfect fit, bringing out multiple shoe types and sizes and giving her real opinions to help us make the right choice.

Aubrey was the absolute best! I wasn't quite sure what I wanted and tried on a few different things. He was super patient and answered all my questions without ever making me feel rushed. It was important to him that I got the right size and he encouraged me to walk around the store to assess the fit.I asked him about the MIE and he brought out a pair of oxblood boots. They were gorgeous but I already had a pair of oxblood church boots. When I asked about another color, he mentioned there was another color but they didn't have in this location. He called the Studio City store and had them hold me a pair. I drove over and ended up needing a larger size because they fit just a bit different than the ones I tried on in Topanga.When looking at Yelp reviews, Aubrey is praised over and over. There is good reason for that. The outstanding customer service he delivered was top notch and I am so appreciative of his kind help.
