Absolutely never go here for anything. They just ripped me off, even though I went and discussed with them in person and in text the exact order--Juan makes all kinds of promises of these thick, high quality cushions and these are absolute TRASH! It looks like my kids sewed these together. Lumpy cushions, thin as newspaper! Then they lied and yelled over the top of me over the phone like children, could not have a professional discussion. Absolute trash.

I initially contacted Robert Ayala to have him refinish an antique trunk. He took 2 months to complete it. It needed to have a hole repaired and refinished. well he repared the hole, and simply just put on a coat of wax.. giving him the benefit of the doubt, I asked if he redid floors, which according to him he did.. He asked for $400 deposit, which I Zelled to his account. every time we had an appointment he canceled for one reason or another. after several, and I mean several months, I contacted him to return my deposit, which he never did... giving him one more chance, I proposed that he start, which he said that he was willing to do. I asked when, and never heard from him. I sent a text, never received a response. do yourself a favor, and learn from my mistake!

I took my Eastlake antique chair that was purchased at an estate sale to Ayala's upholstery. Owner, Anthony Ayala was knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a very fair price on recovering the chair which included tack finishing on the trim. The chair looks great and I couldn't be happier with the work!

A true craftsman with high quality and professional standards!Anthony's quick reply to my quote request on Thursday evening, resulted in his delivery (on Saturday morning) of a wonderfully refinished product of 6 reupholstered dining chairs that have been in my family for at least 60 years.His honesty, integrity and fair pricing as a local, small business is so refreshing!Keep doing what you do with your attention to detail and remarkable products that will last for years.And KUDOS to your very capable staff in adhering to your high quality standards!

Anthony Ayala is amazing at his craft. We hired him to build a 3 piece custom couch for us. Was delivered today. It came out better than we could have imagined. It's gorgeous. Every inch is precisely what we asked for. Thanks Anthony. P.s now we have to find another project for him.

I am writing this review for the Ayala Upholstery Business in Canoga Park, I was referral by a dear friend of mine that mentioned she had posted a fine review for this humble and the sweetest small family business of upholstering around. I had a stupendous experience just like my dear friend did... and now I am making this time to post this review for them; they did an Amazing job on fully reupholstering and refinishing our dinning set; chairs and table. Fantastic experience. Needed a sofa cushion repaired and another store said they couldn't do it. Not only did Anthony fix it, he made it better! Service was Super fast and super reasonable. Will definitely recommend to anyone with upholstery needs!!

Hello Anthony its Sarah Murphy, I am so happy with all the wonderful work on re-covering our 17 year old family 3 piece sectional which we love so much. From beginning to the end process was so convenient and easy to deal with and more than anything understand so that I cold profoundly appreciate what was being done. Outstanding... Outstanding... OUTSTANDING. Having Ayala's Upholstery redo your furniture will be the best decision you can make. He beats other cost and delivers a high quality product. After 15 years my couch needed to be replaced. Not finding anything on the market I liked, a friend recommended Anthony. This turned out to be the best thing I could have ever done. The quality of their work surpassed my expectations, and I can be picky. The expert level work is of the highest standards. Anthony has seasoned pros working for him. Most importantly the couch looks stunning. It actually looks like a high end couch that would cost over $7,000. I paid a fraction of this price, and less that other shops estimated cost. Meeting Anthony you immediately know he can be trusted. Ayala's Upholstery is a family run business that Anthony took it over from his father. It is obvious he cares about the family business and that customers know they are in great hands. Anthony can be hard to get a hold of. He is very busy taking care of his company and most importantly working with the clients that are currently having work done. There will be three times you will hear from Anthony. (1) The day to provide a down payment, (2) the day he picks up the furniture, and (3) the day he drops it off after all the work is done. I fully trust Anthony, he will always be doing any of my furniture upholstery. The pictures tell the real story... The before and after pictures should be very obvious... Thank you Anthony for making sure things turned out as great as it did.

Took our deposit.Did a small fraction of the work many months later than promised. No replies to any calls, texts. Now a year later :( No response, I guess we'll need to sue for our money back.
