i dropped off my 82' C3 to have some minor electrical problems fixed because I didnt have time to do it on my own.John took care of the issues in a matter of couple days. Nice to meet someone short to the point ,with no time for B/S discussions. (just tell me the problem and lets get it done) attitude. So' I understood John's personality from being born and raised in the East myself. AAA+ recommended

You can get a good feel for this place when you drive up. It's not a high-end kind of a place. But they do have a lot of years of experience with Corvettes. So if you have a Corvette-specific problem, they are likely to do a great job with fixing the issue. But if you are picky about small details, you might end up disappointed. And people have complained about the owner's attitude. But that's just his personality. He is just a straight-shooter, and doesn't pull any punches. If you can't handle some "personality", you might want to try elsewhere. But I generally like the owner. The main reason for my review, is to tell people to be cautious when having this shop do any high-end kind of work. Like doing things on a newer Corvette, EFI tuning, or building a new engine, or transmission. He will say he knows everything about these kind of jobs. But he offers no guarantees or warantees on big jobs, and I have had several projects blow up, then pay to redo the job, then it blows up again. So unless you have endless money, I'd avoid using them for big jobs like these.

Happy with the service, had a 4speed Muncie transmission installed with a very fast turnaround. Wouldn't hesitate to get more work done on my c3.

Great repair shop. If you have a vintage Corvette they will get the job done correctly and faster than your corner mechanic because they have the experience. Don't waste your time and money on anyone who's never worked on a Corvette before. John is a great guy too. Thank God I found this place.

I am so thankful for The Corvette Shop-tremendous command of their area of expertise, which makes them efficient, and also very cost-effective. My 1996 Corvette is in very good hands...and I love the Boston accents! Everyone from the owners to the mechanics are polite, knowledgeable, and helpful!

I find this interesting. Last year around October, I bought a used 24K 2013 c6 corvette in Pensylvania a planet of people are enraged about for no reason as I'm told I'm imagining it. As I drove back to California, as soon as I got to Denver Co, MET WITH PURE COVER UP HATE AND RAGE as to what was done to my life at Boulder, in the early 90's Staying in the Ramada, met with car tampering, and taking my car to John Elway Cheverlet in Denver to look at the control arms, and get the oil changed from the change oil light for driving across the US. Met with lies about the mono leaf, leveling bolts, and 6K upsells on coil overs telling me they couldn't adjust the leveling bolts. Then fixing the front and lifting the rear .5 inch on the drivers side. After picking up the car with their lashing out comments in anger and rage at me. How do they know who I am? Well, that's the criminal question of all question on this WORLDWIDE 44 year mobbing to a 5 year old which is not allowed to tell anyone. Needless to say, on my way out of Colorado, and right after the oil change I notice the oil PSI is no longer at 40 - 60. But at 6. So I shut down and tow it to Stevenson's Cheverlet told I need a new engine for 22K. Of course padded with uneeded things like Radiators and mass groups like The Corvette Connection and other criminal car groups covering for each other with UNHEARD OF Internet based communication tools built around me. as person after person takes turns trying to destroy all my cars for the last 30 years since I turned 16. Including my High School so called friends. So, a couple of days ago, I take my 2008 Eclipse here to get an oil change but of course always met with HOSTILITY from more strangers in this industry and every other one. Because it was strange when my father got me a job when I was 16 years old at Star Auto Haus Mercedes, and they were throwing wrenches at me for no reason, and telling me to drive chuck norris's car home to him while loostening the lug nuts. Is pretty damn strange. Especially when adults are doing this to a 16 year old for buying books and teaching himself how to build car engines. So as I take my car here for a simple oil change. Once again, I am told by the owner, he no longer does oil changes because disposing of the oil is too expansive and points me to Jiffy lub on Roscoe and Desoto, right by where all the Hotroders met in 1988 at a restuarant called Kevin's Burgers, and everyone after went to Mason to Street race a closed off quarter mile. Trying to guilt me of things that don't and didn't matter 30 years ago and trying to make me think I did something wrong by hanging out in 1988 with the Hot Rod groups who show off there cars, and some raced on mason. This also happening NOW. At Multiple Bob's Big Boy car events and other ones where no one cars about J-walking, unless your name is Kevin Perelman, then you need to be hunted for extermination if someone thinks you J-walked 30 yrs ago. Showing Racial and Biggetry towards me. Needless to say, he REFUSED to do a simple oil change to my eclipse by lying and sending me off on a hidden idea of reference goose chase, in which I garuntee is based on HATE, and BIGGESTRY, and JEALOUSY! as well as COVER UPS. I can garuntee he is trying to cover up what his criminal buddies and John Elway Cheverlet did to my Corvette a year ago with Rich Lenhart at the Corvette Connection. Also I will add, Pineapple Joe at Hawaii racing also seems to be linked to these events where when I was 16, he upsold me a 426 hemi, where they went around telling the car industry with my father that I stole 10k from him for buying an engine from him, for the cars I was working on where they keep hinting I'm a thief with their idea of reference, inuendoes and guilts from these mass circles of bullies for the crime of giving them my money. That being said. Be very weary from this shop, and those helping them destroy people cars, to try to steal their money. To have them have people follow you from place to place threatening

I have 3 classic corvettes , John the owner a trooper . I interviewed about 4 corvette shops from Orange County to Los Angeles. I felt the best vibe from him from the other shops . I had him paint my 1969 Vette and new interior , took it to a car show the following week nothing but compliments. My cars are everything to me , I just bought a split window Vette going to have him restore body to original body style and paint to increase value .

Ed works on old Corvettes old vehicles with less complicated mechanics. He’s not interested in working on newer cars he likes antiques. He charged me $250 to change one lightbulb on a 2009 Corvette. Also managed to scrape the paint off my car and bend my speaker enclosure.

This Corvette shop is good. John(the owner) let's you know what needs to be repaired and fixes the problem fairly quick. I personally like that he is down to earth and tells it as it is, no trying to sell you on something you don't need.
