Knowledgeable and helpful. Vo is a character. Hard working and determined. I will be back for my next smog check. Place is small and parking is tight, but don't let that discourage you. Plus he works noon to 9 pm, so you can get your car done off hours.

Fair service, and the price is a bit high. They charged me $69.95. The location of the establishment is in Canoga Park, which is a fairly poor area. Additionally there is very inconvenient parking available for the business. I believe you could find another smog check facility in a better neighborhood with more convenient parking, for the same money or less. However the gentleman was very service orientated. It seemed as though he was a little too thorough. I had the feeling that he was looking for something that might be broken on my car so that he could refer me to someone that would fix it. I suspect he would do that to get some commission. All anyone really cares about is getting their certificate so they can get out of there and register their car. We were generous with the average rating. Again, since the neighborhood is quite impoverished, and the parking is poor, we will not be returning. Additionally the rather high price is definitely a dealbreaker. Thank goodness my car passed smog, and I am free from this hassle for another year or two. PS please also note that the man made me pay in full, before he completed my smog test and cert. I would say avoid using this shop under all circumstances.

Vo not only does smog certification very efficiently and at a highly competitively price, he is also hysterically funny and could easily do standup comedy in Vegas. He works long hours, but seems to enjoy providing top quality smog checks for his customers. Service this good is very hard to find nowadays and you leave with a big smile on your face!
