Great, classic, California Pizza Kitchen location.Nothing better or worse than an average CPK, but inside the mall so convenient stop during/at the end of a long day of shopping. Strangely enough, their West Coast Burger is actually amazing, but their pizza and pasta options are solid too

It broke my heart to leave a mediocre review because CPK has always been my "go to" dinner spot with my family after shopping. We enjoyed the pizza, as always, it was fresh and delicious. However, the chicken picatta lacked flavor and the chicken was extremely dry. Our server was pleasant and attentive, wish I could say the same for the hostess and welcome area. They were not friendly, and downright rude. I received a text to alert the hostess that we received a text that our table will be ready soon. I had done just that but still noticed 3 larger size families got seated first. I asked the hostess what was going on and she sarcastically said "Oh, you lost your spot." I said "Since the text I have been standing right next to you." She responded, "I didn't notice." That's exactly it, she was non attentive and rude. She never apologized and sat us at a table without a word and a bad attitude.Once seated our server provided great service, pleasant and clean experience. Maybe this franchise needs to train the front of house staff.

Sat down for happy hour alone to an overwhelmed new bartender alone. This interaction left me without a menu and unacknowledged for 15 min, never offered bread even those greated near received theirs. I sat directly in front of the bartender for the entirety of my experience. Mentioned twice my order and she ended up taking 3 other orders first. When I finally ordered food took quite awhile and was not hot. Top appeared particularly well done and i definitely never received silverware. Surprised by the time and money i wasted when all they need is to Communicate when you need help.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is cause the food was amazing other than that. The service was horribly slow. I even had to get up and ask the manager himself (goatee and mustache) for more water and a to go box because the server didn't even table touch once we got our food, nothing. He and the server attended the tables next to us constantly and felt like we didn't exsist. The server was super sweet and had like 3 other tables which is manageable but could be better at her server skills. Coming from being a server myself. Her name started with a J.

We ordered a beer and a soda almost as soon as we sat down and were asked if we knew what we wanted. 15 minutes went by and no good order taken or refreshments served. A Mgr came over and we both ordered salads. Place wasn't full but it seemed to have taken a long time. We tried to get our servers attention so many times but she wouldn't look our way. After the Mgr brought our food, the non existent server was asking every ten minutes how things were, things were great no thanks to her! We had to rely on the bus boy and the Mgr to get things done.

Waitress and host did not engage at all. They did less than the bare minimum. My Hawaiian pizza was cold so the reheat it and burnt it, it became crispy.

This is 100% directed to the manager from 1/31 at 7pm. I ordered takeout, drove 25 min round trips 2xs because they didn't give us dressing for a LARGE thai crunch salad nor the sauce for the lettuce wraps. I called to have them ready when I went back. There is also no parking king there so I had my daughter come back with me. She went in, they weren't ready so the kid at take out got them from the manager because he's not allowed to do it. they gave her a tiny cup for her large salad. I went back in to ask for another and the manager tried to charge me $1. I told him, I am not on my second trip here, my food is at home getting cold and you want to charge me for the sufficient dressing for a large salad? He said well I didn't know it was a large. I said you didn't ask and you're just being petty when all of this was your fault. He said to me 'i'm not being petty, that is policy'. so policy is not apologizing and being rude to your customers. Oh! get this, my daughter just opened the bread dipping sauce and it's empty wtf

CPK has been a staple in my casual dining rotation for as long as I can remember. The Westfield Topanga mall location is interesting. There is both an indoor dining area and an "outdoor" area section in the middle of the mall. I've passed by a few times, and my bf and I decided to try it out after the CPK craving hit. First of all, this location is inside a busy mall so keep that in mind when looking for parking. There are usually plenty of spots, but they're not all near the mall entrance. My bf and I brought my dog Sylvie in a stroller. Strollers are not allowed in the outdoor area so we stored it by the indoor front reception area. Our seats were nice in concept. I enjoyed sitting in the middle of the mall and people watching as we ate our food. Unfortunately, because it is a little removed from the main seating area, service was not as attentive as we would have liked. My bf, for example, asked for another round of bread which never came through. The main reason I rated 3 stars was because my bf ordered a Kung Pao Spaghetti with no peanuts, and the food arrived with nuts. Our server did a great job with addressing the error, by offering Tortilla soup on the house. However, this could have been a major error, if my bf had a peanut allergy. Overall, food and ambiance are good, but it's a below-average CPK in terms of service.

Our server was okay but the 3 pizza we ordered took almost 30min to get to our table and they were COLD. It clearly was sitting in the back. The salad had no dressing and when asked for dressing we were told it's $1 extra!!!! Are you kidding me! Since when salad gets served without dressing and you have to pay for it! Next time I'll remember to bring my own dressing.. like what is this! As soon as I told our server I don't like the salad they were like here is the dressing we won't charge you the $1.. you are charging $15 for a salad and you wanna charge another $1 for dressing, so why don't u just change the price of the salad to $16 and get it over with!! I mean come on !!!
