My brakes were failing intermittently, so Brake Masters in Canoga Park replaced the front brake pads (which did need to be done) then flushed the brake line & replaced the brake fluid, but the problem remained. They said I needed a new ABS pump for $1,500 but it would take 3 days to get the part. I went to the dealer & they couldn't find any problem with the ABS system. When they bled the line, they found that the master cylinder wasn't working properly. Since replacing it, the brakes have been fine. How does a place that supposedly specializes in brakes miss a faulty master cylinder?

Just left this place. Waste of time!Replaced brakes and rotors with OEM 6 month ago. Saying my brake pads are burnt. I didn’t hear more nonsense in my life!So when people go on the track and them breaks start to burn they always replace brakes after that?1000$ of repair on 2000$ car. Dude you are greedy, you could offer only master cylinder and Brake fluid I would believe you.

DO NOT go to this shop This used to be a nice, honest shop that I went to several times. They now have a new service writer who is not only rude, but blatantly lied to me and ripped me off. I am pursuing a consumer fraud case against them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Couple of weeks ago I went to this place to get one wheel stud from 2 different tires replaced and they charged me for both and only replaced one... not thinking I would noticed they scammed me... I noticed because I had to change the front brakes from the car and the mechanic that had previous worked on the car ask me if I fixed the problem o said yes little did I know the same stud was still there. If I could I would give it ZERO stars... avoid this place

I know it says Brake in the name, but I always go here to get my oil changed. They also have a very comfortable waiting area that is clean and the staff are all nice and polite. They also always get it done in less than the 45 minutes they say it is going to take. Last time I was here I spoke to the owner who recognized me because I have been here so many times. This is a small local business and everyone should go here rather than Jiffy Lube. Highly recommend.
