I purchased a Visa gift card at the Dollar General Campo. Tried to use it the very next day for gas and was declined. I went online to register card & the card balance had been depleted. I called the store, spoke to the "Manager", Dante. He was rude and unprofessional to say the very least! He gave me no options, no guidance, no help to me whatsoever, not even a referral to call Visa. In a nutshell, he was a punk!Beyond disappointed! And I am out my $50.00! Which I don't have to spare!

Surprising low prices. There is a large selection of general items in small quantities. Fresh fruit and vegetables too but no bread, no honey. Sundries and OTC meds.

Went into the store on Sunday afternoon to pick up some candy. When I paid for it I unknowingly drop a 5.00 bill on the floor. Went out to my car and was looking for it on my car seat. A clerk knocked on my car and told me I had dropped five dollars. She handed it back to me. An honest person that took the time to come outside to find me.I am grateful.

Thumbs up for Dollar General! I was not familiar with the store before they came to Campo but I have to say I am a fan. We have a couple little country markets that serve our area and that's it. This store is like a mini WalMart. They have some of EVERYTHING. Just what you need to keep from having to drive into town. If you run out of dish soap, they have it. If you need a tomato, they have it. Low on toilet paper, it's there. It's easier to try and think of what they don't have. I would say the only area for improvement would be their frozen and refrigerated foods. When I mentioned it the clerk told me that they were still working on getting some inventory. It was nice of her not to give the old COVID excuse but I kinda feel like a new store starting up out in the sticks might be tackling a few startup problems. The ladies who work there are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. We scored with this one neighbors - go check it out.

I was sad to only give this store only 3 stars because the store itself is greatly needed in this area. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the store is clean. My problem with the store is in stock. The shelves are empty. If this could be addressed I know it will help with sales. Win win for all of us. Store will be profitable and your customers will be able to count on your store to buy what they need instead of driving 30+ miles to the nearest store. Hoping to see improvement
