Went in to find and get fitted for new snowboarding boots. Cameron helped me and was very knowledgeable about the different boot options. We finally found the perfect pair and he even went the extra mile to get them heat molded for me before leaving the store. Top notch service from Cameron and the store. Even got to use a killer 20% off coupon that saved me a bunch. 5 stars as always team!

Found the running shoes I was looking for and they’re great. The 5 Stars is for an inquired about a product I told the sales associate I was not going to buy. He did the research anyway and let me know what the stock status was. He walked to the other side of the store to find me. Great service is about doing the little things.

My wife needed comfortable shoes for work as she's on her feet for almost 8 hours while at work.We decided to check out Sports Basement because I've heard great things about the place. I just say, I'm glad we went in.Keith was very helpful!Normally in a shoe store, an associate is just there to help you find a shoe size or answer basic questions.Keith went above and beyond to help my wife to exactly what she's looking for based on the use case. He made great recommendations and there was no pressure for an up sell! She ended up finding a great shoe that has been great to use at work.Due to this, I also decided to ask for Keith's help.I played sports in high school (soccer and golf) and some intramural in college and social sports post college. However, I've since become a couch potato and has taken on more weight that I would care to admit.I just really needed a shoe to get me off the couch. The issue is that I have a flat feet - and I just looked for shoes that usually has "wide" on the shoe box.Keith helped me understand that I'm a "4e" aka Ultra Wide which is a term I've never heard of before! I'm forever grateful as I now know what type of shoes I should be looking for. He determined this by looking at my feet, how I walk, and also any paints I have in my joints. The shoe has been great, and as I increase my activity and ready to go back to running, I'll surely return to Sports Basement and look for Keith!

This location is one of my favorite places to go to! I love that the employees are so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. It was overwhelming to decide what to get when looking for camping supplies. Cass was amazing and giving honest input and made me feel happy with my decisions. We’re overly prepared for future camping trips now!

Went to Sports Basement today looking for women's walking shoes. Rudy helped me and he was terrific. He took lots of time with me and I have the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. He was very knowledgeable and helped steer me toward shoes that fit me well. Will be back the next time I need more shoes. Thanks, Rudy.

Really decent sized shop with seemingly a lot more options that that if the other more famous brand store a couple of miles up the road. The staff also seemed a lot more knowledgeable on the topics I was asking about. Yeah I recommend a visit. Also they have a membership scheme for $25 that earns you a discount from membership onward (including your current purchase).

Another fantastic experience at the Sports Basement Campbell - friendly, helpful folks, great product options - I was there for new running shoes today after 5 years(!) - found what I needed, and had the added pleasant surprise that socks were on sale - BIG thanks to the lady on the shoe department for the heads up! I'll be back again for sure to find the next great deal when I need some sporting gear again - FANTASTIC!

This review is for their bikes service department.Their the bikes dept is big. This review is about 1 particular service person: JZ. Others are better.- They promised to call prior to the bike repair, to confirm the list of things to be fixed and payed for. They didn't.- They charged for tuning up 2 bikes for which I didn't request that. That doubled the bill.- The gear shifting problem was still there after the fix.[Edit] Increasing rating from 1 to 3 stars after being refunded for the services that never happened and were not requested.

Terrible bike service, bad communication, and not helpful. I very seldom give low ratings, in fact our of 100s of yelp and Google map reviews this could be the only one lower than 4 stars.

In the last 4 years I have been servicing my mountain bikes at the sports basement of Campbell I have never been disappointed! Also, recently I needed to have my Thule bike rack warranted and had no receipt cause a bought it several years back. The Manager Anna Guzman from that store went above and beyond to make sure I would have my issues solved. She was able to somehow find my receipt in the store data base and sent me a copy. From the cheapest to the most expensive equipment you buy there you are equally covered. The store’s crew are highly competent and professional to help out. Highly recommended.P.s- Always save your receipts from equipment bought. Take a picture of them and keep it, for sure you will need it.

We we looking for a specific shoe for one family member and a good price on another. Rudy was fast in finding both for us. He was able to give us great tips and insisted that my husband wear the shoes to make sure of the fit. Return if needed but they were perfect!

Their ski bus is a fantastic and easy way to get up to the slopes for a one day trip. We left promptly both up and back and it was nice to sleep on the way up and not have to worry about driving it yourself.I gave it four stars because of a few reasons. The bus price has gone up almost 50% since pre pandemic times. They do not offer the service to rent gear the day before and have it preloaded onto the bus by the staff (this was so convenient!!). They used to have breakfast (coffee, bagels, cream cheese, etc) in the morning at 5am which was very nice. Now we have to bring our own breakfast. We love their post-day drinks and party before departure, but they used to offer food, now it’s drinks only.I don’t feel like I’m getting as much value out of the 50% increase in cost since and the amenities were taken away. If they brought back the breakfast, loading rental gear onto the bus, and added after ski snacks, it would be just like the good old times and my family and I would be inclined to ride it more often during the season.

The rental with ski stuff was quick and efficient. However we purchased some winter discounted items that were supposed to be 30% off, but the cashier charged them for original prices with a 10% member discount. I went home and checked the pieces online, then went to found our previous purchases about a week ago, the discounts were all messed up too. Maybe the cashiers could inform and check with customers what they’re getting and what discounts they receive when customers are checking out. One small move makes the great service!

The staff at this store is so friendly and helpful. I usually have a difficult time finding properly fitting running shoes, but when I shop at Sports Basement in Campbell the staff there makes the process so much easier. They know their products so well and they take the time to assess what would be best for your foot issues. They even have a generous policy of letting you try the shoes out for a couple of days to make sure they are the right shoes for you. I highly recommend this store.
