I called to complain unedible lunch box made me sick. Elisa in CS told me to come in for refund on Thursday. I came aound 7:40 pm to CS no one is around, the Pamela came to me said "come back tomorrow" like I was her messager girl. She then accused me being angry biting customer and tjrenten to call police when other customer told me not to shop this if they are no good. What a tyrant Pamela thinking she can police customer and bite customer anytime. She drove customer away and SafeWay is paying her at 500 Hamilton ave. , Campbell, Ca 95008.

I have shopped here for over 10 years, but once they stared using my Phone number and sending me deals via the web/ app I find the store a huge disappointment. The coupons work 50% of the time, the clerks are frustrated and try and to act sympathetic but have no way to help without calling the manager. I prefer to shop at stores without the phone number/ coupon deal promos. Why do we as consumers have to put up with this invasion into our privacy and life styles from Grocery stores? My final straw was the cashier had 3"nails and was drinking a Starbucks coffee while talking to her colleague while she was ringing up my order. Really - was she too busy to do her job.

Just left safeway after a quite spendy weekly stop. Got all my ingredients for meal prep and snacks for the week. Get home with my freshly bagged stuff to find my apples absolutely demolished inside the bag. Guys if you're going to bag stuff for us, please don't absolutely obliterate the 4$per lb bag of apples that I was looking forward to. I had carefully picked each of those pristine specimens for my evening snacks for the week and now they're applesauce. I'm irately angry. Do better safeway.

They were rude as hell the csr at register no 4 is the rudest person I have ever met I went there to get some change for my store and they treated me really badly wasn't expecting this from them I have been going there for a year and never had such experience which I had tonight....

Hot buffet is decent and runs out quickly. Parking is easy access and ample. Has Amazon lockers. Clean isles and well stuffed. There is a decent Starbucks.

My first time at this location today. It's nice and clean. No flies and no weird smells. Love that they have a nice huge parking lot. Shelves are nicely stocked. Except the dairy section is kind of bare. Around 8:30-9:00pm, there was only one cashier, but self checkout was open. No lines. Will be back if in the area. There's a Starbucks inside and gas station outside.

Pretty easy to find expired products for different departments at this store. Some clerks are nice and provide excellent service, but most couldn't, especially for bakery clerks. Overall, just ok for this store.

I was shopping at Safeway Hamilton Ave Campbell and went up to the customer service with a simple question on the digital app and a price. There were two women directly in front of me opening a box. I stood there and for a few minutes and no one said anything to me. One of the ladies (Melissa) went to walk away and I asked if she worked there. Her response was " I have already called someone to come help you" and then proceeded to walk away. I have to say I was a little surprised! Not once did she look at me and say "someone will be with your shortly" or "I'll be right with you" The Asst Mgr Francesco came and answered my simple question. I told Francisco about the rude employee Melissa and he said that was not right and will speak to her. I hope that in the future that this rude behavior doesn't happen to anyone else.

Right now in the deli area near the soup, you can find ready to heat or cook in 30 minutes or less meals, side dishes & entrees like seasoned chicken, stuffed mushrooms with cheese & more. You can find girlscout cookies outside too but not the raspberry ones as they're only sold online I was told.

Had to provide a review for the Pharmacist on duty today - Feb 25, 2023 at 2:00pm. I went to pick up a prescription and it was not in stock. The male pharmacist said he could check another Safeway or other drugstores but it would be a few minutes since there were other customers behind me waiting. He helped the other customers and I decided to go home to start checking around myself, think he would be too busy. About 20 minutes later the pharmacist called me and said he found another Safeway that had it in stock, I really wasn't expecting him to call me since he was the only person on staff on a busy Saturday. What a relief to know that the prescription would be ready within a 20 minutes. Big props to him for going the extra mile to serve a customer. Safeway should be proud to have an employee like him. Thank you!

I picked up a turkey dinner for Christmas Day. Turkey so dry had to throw away, mashed potatoes and gravey bubbled liked fermented. Inedible So disappointed.

First off, I want to mention Dennis, Andrew, Toni, Maria and the rest of the awesome deli department. They're always so wonderful and helpful and are part of the reason we come back to this specific store. We love them! However, today, while I was getting meat and cheese for my mom, my sister went to grab a couple of things from the Starbucks. She texted me that a specific barista Emily, was taking orders. Emily is only nice when she feels like it. Not only was she more interested in what was going on with her co-worker's cell phone, but she got my very simple drink order wrong. It tastes awful. Additionally, we ordered my mom a pumpkin and pepita loaf which, once heated by request, Emily decided it was a great idea to throw it onto the counter at my sister and say, "Here." And walk away. When I heard she was the one on warming, I was horrified seeing as Emily has at least six inch nails which I'm sure have a good amount of lovely bacteria growing under them. I am a barista at a corporate Starbucks and if any of this happened there, we would be written up. It's disgusting that customers are treated like this and the kiosk isn't following health department laws. I hope this is rectified and Emily takes a chill pill or whatever she needs to get over herself.

I stopped by this Safeway on Saturday, Dec. 10 my way home to pick up somethingto eat for later. I had been to this location a couple times and remembered it was a nice size Safeway and also had a nice assortment of baked treats and desserts. I decided on the fried chicken special for $15. You could choose from fried or rotisserie chicken. Along with 6pk coke, 4pc Hawaiian King rolls, 12oz side of your choice from list display. I chose the broccoli and cheese. Not bad I thought for the meal. I get home and don't eat it right away, but when I finally do I am very disappointed. The fried chicken, all dark pieces that I chose were overcooked, tough and dry...very disappointing. Mind you, I stopped by around noon, but didn't eat until probably about 3:00p. Still, it should of been fine, not tough. The deli had a good selection of food and was surprised they even had cooked Chinese food. I don't know, maybe it's just this time that I went. The woman behind the counter was very nice and helpful. I also stopped by the bakery dept. and picked up some Christmas shortbread cookies and a raspberry ring cake which were great! I didn't bother calling it in and certainly didn't want to drive all the way back to the store. Might wanna try keeping an eye on the fried chicken and not allow to overcook. It looked good! Just not what I expected.

Warning about Safeway delivery service for 95126 zip code (San Jose) Safeway grocery deliveries to San Jose area (Willow Glen, Campbell) is terrible. Half of our past orders (six Separate deliveries) were missing items that we were still charged for. Occasionally entire food orders are claimed to have been delivered but go missing. (yesterday, Dec.16) Safeway uses DoorDash and the competency of their drivers vary. Despite being a Safeway Fresh Club member, I'm now using Whole Foods for my grocery deliveries. WF is more expensive but more reliable.

I'm not one to complain, but it's just nasty to find a bug inside your fruit. Do not recommend the fruit bowls after this.
