“We knew Shirley because she lives in our neighborhood and was one of the moms at our kids’ elementary school, so we already knew she was a straight shooter, which was important to me. Working with her as our real estate agent was exactly what we expected. She kept everything organized, checked in constantly, and made the complicated parts feel like hers, not ours. The sale took a little longer than expected due to buyer financing issues, but Shirley kept us informed at every step.

She handled home staging, marketing, and last-minute repairs, including touch-up painting and coordinating a handyman, so we didn’t have to do any of that. The HOA and insurance requirements could have been a headache, but she also managed that. “Susan is amazing! She’s helped us refinance several times in the past and she was always quick and professional and detailed. “We found Debbie Marino of Properties in Silicon Valley to be very thorough in breaking down all the requirements of the sellers obligation. She walked us through step by step, answered all of our questions and gave us the level of comfort needed throughout the selling process. We found Debbie to be trustworthy, knowledgeable and very committed to us as her clients.

Some key areas that we felt Debbie excelled in was her knowledge of the market and experience in preparing/staging our home for sale.
Debbie conducted a full market analysis early in the process and again at various steps within the process as she verified any potential market changes. Debbie created a real estate proposal complete with breakdown of our homes statistics and the history of neighboring sales for comparison, schools, community demographics and more were included.
Debbie also created a state of the art website with links to our 3-D home presentation, open house dates, flyer/brochure, photography, videography and drone aerial view, all of which were accessible from the website that Debbie created for us. Post cards were sent out to a wide radius of neighboring homes marketing our home for sale as well. Marketing at it’s best which ultimately was the driving factor that brought us a buyer for our home.

Staging was another area that we felt was essential in getting right and Debbie went the extra mile to stage our home properly. We were able to live in the home comfortably while going through the selling process. Debbie even added her own special touches like pillows and plants which gave the house a great look. Both inside and out, our home was staged nicely by the final touches Debbie put in place.

Debbie gave us a blank calendar on the 1st day we met to discuss the transaction and we filled it in together with a timeline for everything from inspections to the day the house would go on the market to when she would host open house and we would book showings. This kept us all on track and with Debbie’s excellent follow up skills, we never missed a beat.

Our home sold in 15 days and we couldn’t be happier. Debbie even gave us a voucher for U-Haul to help us move out!

Lastly, Debbie Introduced everyone on her team that we would be working with so that we knew who to safely provide information to. We were given each persons contact info so that we would know who to expect communication from.
