We have gone to Kirkwood since we moved to the area in 1984! So 40 years and 10 dogs ago! Dr. Ueno has been awesome, but now that he is semi-retired, we also see Dr. Hu. They are excellent at diagnosing issues and referring to specialists when needed. Highly recommended. ?

Today I had appointment with my dog and our total came to 170.90 I had 200 and they could only take exact change so I told them I was going to leave to get the bill exchanged and that I was going to return.But the Starbucks couldn’t take 100 so I walked to another store near by and when I came back they had left and I wasn’t able to receive the medication my pup really needed because of all his pain. I don’t understand why they didn’t wait I wasn’t going to leave without paying so I’m not sure why they did now I have to wait 2 days for the medicine of my pup. I feel horrible.

Easy drop off and pick up. Our kitty Frosty didn’t complain and suffered no I’ll affect’s from her teeth cleaning.

Clean and efficient, with cost much more reasonable than other pet hospitals. Had dental cleaning for my dog and cost was about half than other hospitals.

A bit pricey for urgent care services, but is to be expected. Overall, all staff members were exceptional. Especially the front desk staff. Dr. Wu was exquisite. Very kind and knowledgeable. Great experience for me.

I recently brought my husky in to have her toenails clipped because she does not cooperate and groomer is not able to do it. The Technician I talked with was professional and understanding. He assured me they would do their best. My dog was once again uncooperative, but they were able to get the job done. The veterinarian recommended sedatives before bringing her to her next nail trim to hopefully help with her anxiety regarding this. I felt this was a really suggestion and we will give that a try.

We called and made an appointment with Dr Ueno few days ago, when we went in, they told us that Dr Ueno retired so we need to see Dr Alaine, and they charge us $99 for SQUEEZE IN FEE.
I checked their website when we got home, and website indicate that DR Ueno still accept appointment on the website, and we felt been cheated。
I found later that my dog's blood test has two big issues but all I got is a one-line phone text said report is normal。
No one even call us to explain the test result, we are very disappointed about this visit。
