i do not recommend this place at all. she picked up my bridesmaids dress almost a month ago FROM trudy’s bridal shop, the day i came to pick it up she couldn’t find my dress, turns out she hadn’t even started working on it and found it in the bottom of my sisters wedding dress bag.. she apologized and offered to do it for free since it had already been there for 3 weeks and said it’d be ready the next day but i wasn’t going to be in town because i was leaving to vegas she told me to come back to get it. i go today to pick it up and she tried to charge me $175 when my original price was $150, i was there with my 3 sisters and we ALL heard her say she’ll do it for free. i didn’t even ask for it to be free she was the one who offered. my sister went back to their place to see what happened then the lady said it was going to be $200. overall terrible experience my sisters wedding is this saturday so it was a close call that all of this happened , very inconvenient, and very unprofessional. all i wanted was for my dress to be ready ON TIME and it took almost a month!!! SMHHH!!

She's the best 5* I bought my dress at Elegant Lace two years ago. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our wedding until this year. I was able to finally wear my dress but I would not have been able to wear it without the magic of JUST MY SIZE . My dress didn't fit the way it did 2 years ago but she worked her magic and I was able to wear my dream dress. She added lace to the back and made my dress look perfect on me again! JUST MY SIZE is the the place to visit if you want someone with experience and who will listen to your needs and make them happen. I have so far had a wonderful time working with everybody here at Just My Size. I called the last weekend of November to get my wedding dress in for alternations and my wedding is December!! Super short notice for them and I was worried they would say no. Danielle was so accommodating and told me to come in that same day and we got my dress all sized a ready for her to work her magic! A little over a week later I went in for a fitting before they finalize the alterations and the gentleman working is so kind and helpful. He almost made me cry with how sweet he was. (I am pregnant too so emotions were high lol) Danielle wasn't there this day as she is on vacation but the other woman who helped me didn't speak much, though she was very kind and helpful! definitely recommend this place and will submit a photo and final review once I receive the final! I cannot wait!!

I do not recommend this place. Had a pair of pants hemmed here. When picking up, the lady almost didn't let me try on the pants, saying they do the hem exactly as asked. What kind of place does that?When I tried on, they were too short. She insisted they hem where the pants were pinned. But that's not where I asked to have them hemmed. No proof - their word against mine. Bad attitude, bad customer service, saying it's my fault.Plus, they charged $15 for a simple hem. Most places here charge $10. I only came here since my normal person was sick and wasn't around for a few days.

Local & kind people. It has some small business hiccups naturally but they do amazing work with alterations. Definitely recommend.

I was given this alteration place as a recommendation from the place I purchased my wedding dress they raved about this place and said they were very nice which was true at first but after the third time coming back it was a completely different experience. I have a thyroid condition that fluctuates my weight and was panicked when my dress did not button instead of being empathetic to the situation she started to fat shame me and consistently say it doesn't fit I finally politely asked her to stop which then she did and started to compliment me. She was rude to my sisters about their shoes and up charged us for everything I paid almost 800 dollars plus an additional 250 for my sisters dresses to be bullied and ridiculed by them before my wedding. Do not go here if you are not skinny and don't want to be up charged and fat shamed never again will I go here and will never reccomend them to anyone!

I am so happy to have found this place!! My whole wedding planning process was super fast (I got married within 2 months of getting engaged) so everything had to be done quickly. I found Just My Size on Yelp and read a ton of great reviews so I decided to go to them to have my dress altered. Danielle helped me and was so incredibly sweet and caring. I was about 2 months pregnant at my first fitting and while Danielle was pinning the hem of my dress, I ended up getting extremely light headed. I told Danielle and she helped me sit down right away, and I went on to completely pass out. I came to a minute later with her applying peppermint oil to my temples and massaging my face, while another employee was fanning me. They had me lay on the couch for about 15 minutes and Danielle brought me water and an apple. The whole thing was extremely scary but I was so grateful that she was able to stay calm and be so helpful. I was embarrassed and kept apologizing and she kept telling me not to apologize and reassured me several times that I am okay and just need to stay on the couch until I'm feeling completely better. I am truly so grateful for her. I had two more appointments with her to make sure everything was still fitting correctly and she did such an amazing job. The bustle was very intricate because there was a long train on the dress and she did a beautiful job with it. My grandmother came to one of my appointments with me and Danielle was able to hem a pair of pants for her that day, which was extremely convenient. I am so happy that I found Danielle and will absolutely be back for future alterations. The price was super reasonable, I expected it to cost a lot more based on research I had done. She shortened the straps, took in the back, fixed a part of torn mesh, hemmed the bottom layers so that it was easier to walk, took in the mid section, and put in a 5 point bustle. I was so happy that she was able to have it all done in time and cannot recommend her enough!! Oh also be sure to go to the correct address, as her address listed on Yelp is their old location.

She was recommended by my friend's daughter who has had years of experience with Just My Size alterations! I took my mother of bride dress for alterations. My experience was great service, quality work and reasonable pricing. I've already taken a few other pieces of clothing and everything was consistent.

I made the mistake of going to another place closer to my house to alter my daughter's prom dress. Somehow they messed up the dress and long story short it was not worth it to take it back to fix. Thank goodness Danielle was able to save the day. She fixed the dress and made sure it was as perfect as possible for my daughter. Her prices and turn around time are reasonable, and most of all, she does excellent work. I should have known better than to go elsewhere-after all, she did alterations on my wedding dress over 20 years ago. I won't make that same mistake again!

Danielle at Just My Size is great! She altered my wedding dress by taking in the bodice and the hem. She made me a matching mask from the extra material from my hem. We also entrusted her to alter my husband's suit. She was confident and knew what she was doing, and made me feel confident, too. Danielle was also quick with the alterations. Getting in touch via phone with Just My Size can sometimes be tricky, but with such reasonable prices and good quality alterations, it's definitely worth overlooking. Highly recommend!

I have been using Just My Size since 2011. I have always had great service and great work done to the dresses I bring to them. I have had two bridesmaids dresses even altered by them and they were perfect! They are honest about the material and shape of the dress and how realistically the alterations could impact the dress. But they manage to make it work every time without damaging the look or shape of the dress. I have two more dresses I need to bring in soon, one being a bridesmaids dress!
