I was referred to John keegan with great rants and raves. So I decided to try him out. I've never filed taxes for a buisness before so I figured a tax attorney would be great to avoid any potential issues with the IRS. I went in with all of my files, papers, receipts and paperwork he provided via snail mail. I had some questions, add I've never filed before so I was unclear what receipt goes to what ams what qualifies as a right off etc. He had another guy waiting so he sent me home and said to call him with the other numbers (to put in some of the other categories). When I called a few days later he asked me to fax them. Great. ... Now I have to take all of my chicken scratch and compose it onto a itemized list of numbers. That meant I couldn't ramble the numbers off, which would take a few minutes.... then I could be off to work and be done, right? ..... noooo. Nope nope! ..I had to wait until two days from now to do this. But welcome to tax time right? So I did end up I faxed the numbers off. I called him to confirm he got the fax, he made a negative comment on my penmanship which I thought I wrote pretty neat. He said to call him in two days, which was a few days prior to the tax deadline. So I did. Then he advised he needed to file an extension as he was not able to get to my taxes and asked me to call him in a few days which I did only be told that now he wants me to come in and do the taxes with him. ... Really? ! Omg! It's now the 22 and he wants me to put the numbers on his passkey work list he provides? Why didn't he say that a week ago? And he was very short and abrasives when speaking to me. He quoted me $100-$300 to file my taxes

Mr. Keegan has been my lawyer and tax consultant since 1983. Due to my job and constant travel to and from the mainland, sometimes I get years behind. I've put John in situations where if it was anyone else they would've sent me down the road. Not ONCE have I gone to John where he didn't just laugh, shake his head, and say, "Ok Robey, I'll take care of it". AND HE DOES! NO STRESS, NO PAIN PILLS NEEDED. You won't find a better man than John J Keegan. PERIOD.

I've been going to John for my taxes for number of years. This year he lied to me about filing my taxes and has disappeared. Because of his mistake I now owe the IRS. He has brought me nothing but headaches and now financial hardship because of his miatakes.

AVOID!!! I've been coming to John for multiple years and questioned his taxes. This year he was supposed to file my taxes and stated"Your taxes have been filed and you'll get the paperwork in the mail in the next few weeks". This was back in February of 2022. Since then I've sent him multiple letters to which have return to sender on it, I've called his office, home, and cell with no return calls and when I contacted the IRS I found he only applied for an extension and did not do my taxes. I went with someone else who completed my taxes and found I am being penalized because I owe the IRS. If I would have known this I would of paid the IRS but now I have to pay the penalty also. John if you read this YOU NEED TO RETIRE!!! The company who has taken my taxes has found multiple issues with filings dating back when you first filed them for me. I'm beyond shocked the IRS hasnt audited me yet because of your mistakes! I will be seeking legal counsel and seeing you in civil court.

I have been going to John for my tax preparation for 20 years! He is honest helpful and you never have to worry if your taxes are done right. He is professional and always available if I have a question. HIGHLY RECOMMEND John!

Been using John and his services for over 25 years. My entire family uses him and he is amazing and worth every penny he charges. He had helped us with complex adoption credits and threatened IRS audit. He lives out of state and has for over 10yrs but comes back every year during tax time to take care of his clients. I shudder to think what we will do once he retires!

We worked with John for several years without any difficulties. Two (2) years ago he completely disappeared during the process. He would not return calls or emails. We finally gave up on him. We later learned that he had left the state. He gave no explanation as to his conduct. At a critical time he completely failed and lost our trust. I would not rely upon him to do my taxes again. There are far too many other qualified and reliable tax service providers.
