Overall a decent Home Depot but you guys really need to replace the young people with older and more experienced people. The tall one with black hair and a bit of acne is the most useless one in the store. I always see him standing around and not once have I seen him helping someone. If these younger people weren't around, the store would literally still be the same.

Why doesn't Apple Pay work at Home Depot? It's seriously annoying to have to remember to bring the credit card and then dig for it during self checkout.

Needed some Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound, 18 oz and wanted it today so I could detail my cute little red Miata (Zoom Zoom) tomorrow. Autozone's website said they have it in stock but when I called them it turned out they have none. Ditto for O'Reilly. Googled a bit and Home Depot website said that though the store closest to me in Santa Clara didn't have any, the HD in Campbell (the one I'm reviewing here) has two in stock. Just to be sure I didn't waste my time running after something that doesn't exist at HD, I phoned the store but it just rang and rang and rang, for literally Minutes. So then I went to the HD website Chat, got past the Bot, and typed back and forth with Jason V. I explained the situation to him (including that the HD website said the Campbell store has 2 but they didn't answer the phone), and asked him to please check to make sure they had it in stock; I foolishly assumed that since I'd told him I had checked the website and couldn't reach the store itself, he checked with the store rather than just looking on the website and seeing the same info I had seen, which I'd told him about. Silly me. So I went and ordered it for Curbside Pickup, and patiently waited for the text or email saying it was ready. Around 30-60 minutes later a very nice lady (Mila, I think) from the Campbell HD phoned me to tell me they didn't have it in stock after all. So then I had to spend time with her on the phone getting the money refunded to my credit card. I was more-than-annoyed and so asked to speak to the Manager (his name is Daniel) and told him what happened. Asked that he get Staff to answer their phones, and told him I intended to write a 1-star Yelp! review. He offered to check with other local stores to see if any of them have it, mentioned that the Cupertino store's website says they have 4 in stock, and he phoned them while I stayed on hold. Ultimately he was able to reach their Manager (Morant -- sp?) who said they will hold one for me at the front register. SO, I'm giving 3 stars rather than the 1 I'd originally intended because Daniel did his best to "make it right" ... but not 4 or 5 stars because this store's not answering their phones 2 hours ago led me on this time-wasting wild goose chase.

A great time to shop Hone Depot is 8pm on a Saturday, no one there, easy parking. A good time to pickup essentials. No lines to checkout.

Josef Souza Customer Service Lead is the worst person you can deal with! He’s not trying to help you, he’s trying to make your life miserable. Even against the store policy. I am a contractor with strong relationships with comfort, and I’m not Dealing with this guy again!!!

Crafting a ?️ key would be harder to do without the assistance from those who know how to work the machines at Home Depot. Show them a key, and they'll help you choose the right one for you, if you're having trouble deciding on the various styles they have on display. Always courteous and polite, they have great people working there! They have other keys styles there, too, for cars and locks, as well.?

Finally met one snotty employee on one aisle last week. I hope it was just a bad day for him. But the rest were still super helpful like usual. Today's service was exceptional. I tried to return a sandpaper that I couldn't use. I thought I had the receipt. The lady at the cashier was extremely nice and helpful. She finally told me that probably I bought the item at Lowe's because they didn't carry that item. She was right. I also brought my pup, and the lady who welcomed us gave the pup a snack that he liked so much . He doesn't usually like the free snacks that stores gave, but this one must be a really yummy one! When she found out, she gave another treat for the chubby pup . Thanks so much!

It's home depot. Overall pretty good. The self checkout guy (Cedric?) was totally awesome. Really friendly and helpful.I will say, per usual, it was craziness on Sunday. But I think that's just how it always is on the weekends, vs the contractor crowd on the weekdays that know where what they want is. But obviously that doesn't have anything to do with the store, beyond the simple recommendation to avoid weekends if you can.

Has everything I need and the older workers are the nicest and more helpful, younger workers feel like zombies and they seem to not know much about the store. Some things are organized badly as well. Some guy spent quite a while trying to find a simple item that was hidden at the very top with quite amount in stock. You guys need to organize your store more often. Other than those small complaints, the store is located in a safe area right next to the freeway, which is a plus.

It's a pretty typical Home Depot. You walk into the huge store, trying to figure out where to find what you are looking for. Every so often you encounter an employee who's busy with something else, but will give you few seconds of their time, and give you a friendly waive you off in the right direction. Eventually, you find what you need and stand in a long line to purchase it. not exactly a great shopping experience, but this is what hardware has become. I used to shop at full service hardware stores, but they all went out of business around where I live, so I'm basically stuck with Home Depot. They get the job done, as I usually find what I'm looking for at a decent price. Not exactly a raving revue, but as I said, it's a pretty typical Home Depot.

One return person somewhat working. Took a good 25 minutes before my turn! I was 3rd in line. The people behind me were getting upset even more irate for the line was growing and not moving at all!The employee was courteous and apologized.Then the search for the correct item to no avail!It was two trips to purchase wrong items for they do not work with my existing went to two different home depot's and both were not sure why their product won't work with my adapter I needed to find a fitting for.Now off to a commercial supply place. Not a do it yourself quickie fix place with questionable standards. Sorry but 2 stars is generous. Or fair!;
