Tried to buy a Stihl 500i saw, was told by the general manager they were in stock, to place the order online, placed order 45 minutes later. Then told by sales rep the next morning that they were sold out, that I could pre-pay for one and would get one next week. Was told my order was cancelled because of bad address, checked address and they said I had to submit again. I did, same results, so they said submit again the next day. I used a different card, and submitted it all again. My bank called to make sure it was not a fraud, they said the transaction was approved. Garden land sales rep said it was denied again, and I would have to come in personally. In addition when I asked about getting a different bar setup was told they would have to order a complete different saw, I guess they don't know how to pull one bar off and put another on. I would not suggest buying anything from this establishment. Edit: the response from gardenland lies about what really happened. I would not trust them with any business

Bought an echo blower 6-months ago to keep my yard clean since we have a lot of trees shedding leaves all the time. After two tanks of gas the owners manual requires a carburetor adjustment, and not wanting to screw with it I took it to Gardenland. Busy store with professional yard maintenance trucks in and out. I waited a short time while they made the adjustments. SInce I didn't buy it there they charged me a a fee, but nocked 50% off what they normally charge, so in turn I bought four quarts of premixed fuel for my blower.

I just have to say that these folks are amazing! Top-notch customer service! Every question I had, every email I sent, and any issues that arose, Gabe Foo and the staff at Gardenland went over and beyond to answer and address them. You definitely get that family feel of a ‘small business’ when dealing with these guys. I run a small landscaping business in southeast Tennessee and I was looking for a particular hedge trimmer that is hard to find around here and I ended up getting a good price and better service than one TN based supplier. I will for sure order from them again. Highly recommend!

I needed a generator repaired for my uncle who lives off the grid in the mountains. Being that this generator is the only source of power for him and his wife and has been broken for several months, I called Gardenland to see about arranging them to bring it down and I will pay for the repairs over the phone. I will say Gardenland's relative distance from them is what drew me in, but the outstanding customer service received is what will be bringing me back. I called and was connected with Abel. I explained the situation to Abel and he went to work. He quoted me 400 dollars to get it running again over the phone, and he went ahead and called his customers and explained the situation to them so he could get my Uncle's generator fixed that same day. I was taken aback by how willing Abel was to get my uncle power again. Abel and his team rose to the occasion again and let me know that even though they took more than the quoted time on the generator, they were still going to honor the 400 dollar price previously discussed on the phone prior to drop off. I can't say enough good things about Abel and crew - they really value honest work and customer service. Please support this awesome local business for all your generator/power equipment needs!

I have several things from Gardenland. I bought a second honda 2000 generator as I could not lift the next size up. I was having trouble starting it. It would recoil and I could not start without a great deal of trouble. Being a female of an age I have decades of experience of being treated like an idiot by male repair people. So I was all defensive - of course I know how to start my generator. Able was patient with me and explained he was not implying I did not know how but maybe he could show me an easier way to accomodate my bad shoulder. Which in fact he did. And he explained to me why my older generator of the exact model was easier for me to deal with. The new model has a slightly bigger motor and higher torque. So a new technique for starting and set my mind at ease as to why the older model started easier. GREAT and I did not go away feeling put down or demeaned at all. So advice to women, don't go in expecting the usual treatment. They will respect you and help you.

It's a WOW place for most lawn care equipment. Let me tell you, the repair for my Honda generator was going to be $400 but they suggested an additive to try 1st. So, it's not sell sell sell...they care about the customer. Plus they're the only ones work in Honda. Very nice folks too.

Please be careful with this company. In multiple occasions, I noticed that their advice and feedback is driven by greed and by how they will generate most revenue. The latest happened last month when I took my STIHL gasoline-powered blower for repair (which I had purchased from them a couple of years ago). The repair man told me by just looking it at and by me describing the problem that I had destroyed the machine by not using the right gasoline mix. He said that only parts would cost me $150 and then the labor. He immediately recommended that I buy from them an electric blower. Given that he brought to my attention that I had used the wrong gasoline (without oil inside), I went home and I changed on my own the gasoline to the premix type that I could buy from Home Depot. Immediately after that the blower started working. In prior time, the owner tried to sell me a preassembled Honda mower with 1st maintenance price added to the price that I had to pay for machine. Why would anybody do that? I bought it from Home Depot, was not a floor preassembled part and more than a year later I have not had a need to do any maintenance. So be careful! They do have the skills to do the right thing, but I think they are directed by greed and by their desire to increase sales. Because of that, they do not always recommend what might be the most favored solution for their customer. There is of course a risk by exploring options that some may not work, but can you imagine that after a few years, for home use, they immediately directed me to spend over $300 for a new blower rather than first asking me to change the gasoline I was using and see if that might fix the problem? Not good! I cannot also forget that the owner also sold me once a Premium Pruner (German) with life guarantee! After one spends all this money, you think about it and you debate whether you did the right decision.... For sure what happened with the blower and the mower convinced me on their selling and marketing strategy towards home owners. If I can help it, I will not shop there again.

Gardenland is a family owned business that has been doing it's best to provide quality service even during the COVID 19 pandemic. Staff wear masks and common areas are sanitized everyday. The staff here really know what they're doing and care about the customers unlike the big box stores. They also make sure that you get the right equipment whether you're a professional landscaper or at home gardener. Gardenland is hands down the best! Been coming here for years and it's worth the wait.

I raised my review rating to 3 stars because Gardenalnd responed to my original review. Long story short these new covid guidelines are time consuming for GL customers. I removed my orig. review because GL responded to me. It's not there fault that they have to deal with the ever increasing covid guidelines. The blame is with the IMO paranoid county heath officials Dr. Sara Cody and Governor Newsom, narrowing the covid goal posts so often to get where we are today. Give yourself some extra time because it might take a while to enter the store these days. GL are professionals and they have served me for years!
