I made an appointment three days ago. I've never been here but the reviews were great so I wanted to try it out. I requested a delux pedi (gel) with paraffin wax and acrylic overlay-on my natural SHORT nails. My toe nails were cut so extremely short and crooked they hurt afterwards. I was stabbed underneath my toenail twice. It was very painful. The "scrub" on the pedi-exfoliating was nothing more than 5 seconds or so. Not worth it. The mask on my legs and massage were very nice. My nails already chipped 3 days after getting them done. I was cut on my cuticles twice. Overall, the ladies that did the service were so sweet and I appreciate their time. They were very kind. However, the work itself was not great. I paid $110 not including the tip I left.

Since I moved South from the East Bay, I've had some difficulty finding my nail salon. I remain open and keep trying new places (sometimes at the cost of my fingers). Although I love the concept and ambiance of French Nail Boutique, I was unimpressed by the nail tech. You guys, I'm pretty fair when it comes to small business and folks in the cosmetology field. Maybe she was under pressure or tired from the work day, but my experience here was disappointing. I would have given three stars but she when she left the blood on my finger, polished over it (without cleaning it first) after cutting my skin, I knew it was a doozy. I know accidents happen sometimes, but most folks clean it before proceeeding. Yikes! Back to square one and taking nail salon recommendations..

Kim literally saved my wedding! I had gotten my nails done at a different salon for my wedding and didn't like the results. A friend recommended Kim and I called first thing in the morning and she was able to take me in immediately. She saw my inspo picture and said she can fix it. I was so happy with the results, I feel like my wedding day was saved lol Thank you Kim!

This place was recommended to me by a friend, she always had a good set of nails on. Came in and was excited to finally find a tech that was good and fast! I sat down and made it known that I am Vietnamese. A few minutes later, as she starts on my nails, she blurts out to her coworker in Vietnamese that This girl (me) has a "map chiem" (fat vagina). I know what you're thinking... a fat vagina? Did she really just say that I had a fat vagina? Im a little rusty with my Vietnamese but it's literally two words and the only other translation was fat bird. There were no birds around. Her coworker seemed just as confused (or d*** founded) as I was so she asked her to repeat herself. I think in that moment she remembered that I was Vietnamese because she paused and said, " I said what I said I'm not going to repeat it." Honestly, I loved my nails but I hated my experience, it was really uncalled for. I truly wish this was a made up story, but it wasn't. I lived every second of it and I will never forget the day someone said I had a fat vagina. It's funny now but it wasn't then. This took place right before covid hit but I haven't gotten around to writing this until now.

As someone who almost never gets manicures or pedicures, I was super grateful that Kim was able to squeeze my boyfriend and I last minute on a Friday evening. The current rate is $28 for a pedicure. As someone who works in a profession where it's very important to be on time, I low-key wished that she only squeezed one of us in instead of two people. We came in at 5:40 PM and while I had an entire hour to spare, I wish I was done in less than an hour. I didn't realize that helping me would make the nail tech late for her next client which I felt bad for. Massages also felt a little rushed. They have an extensive Instagram page to showcase previous designs. Overall I recommend this business to anyone with manicure and pedicure needs.

First time here. Came here two days ago and was happy I got in at the last minute. I felt bad too because the person who did my nails stayed after closing. Unfortunately, she did seem a little rushed. I got gel done on both my finger and toe nails. They look nice, but seem a little thin? Usually I feel like they put a thicker coat on. And they aren't shiny at all... Anyway, my nails are already chipped. I'm leaving for vacation too :( Pretty sad as I spent $98 on both.

This review is for acrylic nail removal and their customer service. I first called them to make an appointment and asked how much acrylic nail removal was. I asked for the price and the lady said "$10, thank you" and then immediately hung up without even asking me if I wanted to make an appointment! I was confused but decided to go in after work without an appointment. A friend recommended this place and gave me the phone number to call so I wasn't aware it was by appointment only until I got there since I wasn't told that when I called. When I entered the salon, one of the ladies immediately pointed at the chairs and had me sit down without saying a word or asking me if I had an appointment/what I came in for. I noticed several women in the back doing nothing but wasn't sure if they were nail techs/on break. I sat and waited for about 20 minutes until I'm guessing the owner or manager with bleached silver hair finished with her client and came up to me saying it was by appointment only. Up until this point, I had no idea the services were by appointment only. She was polite and understanding when I told her my situation and I just wanted my acrylics removed and had me sit and wait for the next available nail tech. About 10 minutes later, the nail tech who first pointed for me to sit in the chair when I entered finally called me over and I clearly told her I wanted to get my acrylics removed. She didn't seem to understand english well which was understandable. She began removing my acrylics a little too aggressively and seemed to have a hard time. It confused me a bit when she took out some plastic nails and started measuring them by putting them on my nail (not gluing) as if she thought I wanted a new set of nails??? I had to repeat that I only wanted to remove my acrylics, not get a new set. She nodded but seemed to be a bit confused. She didn't say a word to me the whole time which I'm fine with but would have liked her to ask for clarification if she didn't know what I wanted. After about 10 minutes, another customer entered and my nail tech dipped my fingers in the bowl of acetone and walked away to help the new customer without saying a word to me. I sat and waited for about 5 more minutes before a different nail tech came to help me. She also had a hard time removing my acrylics but was slightly gentler and attentive. The whole process from waiting and removing took 2 hours. I gave 2 stars since there could have been a language barrier and they were kind enough to service me without an appointment.

Came in with an appointment the day before Christmas Eve and I'm very disappointed on the outcome of my nails. I chose to do dip powder on my real nails. My nail tech ended up grabbing the wrong colored powder and had already put the activator on so the other nail tech took a look at it and let me know that she would have to start over and soak it all over again and if she continues to sharpen it down it will start to burn. So she decided on the alternative which was to put a similar gel color polish over the dip powder. I will say they were friendly about it, but they still ended up charging me the full amount of dip powder which was $50 when it wasn't even the color I initially wanted. I'm not one to complain so I just paid the $50 plus tip since it was holiday season. Overall my nails are already chipping and you can definitely see bubbles plus you can see the dip powder color peeking thru the gel.
