It's been an interesting journey so far. The staff are very friendly, the hours however or not. I work from 9:00 to 5:00 and my pets needs don't confine to the 9:00 to 5:00 time frame either. But you do what you got to do when it comes to a specialist. The doctor I met with at intake suddenly left that location and I met with someone else, so that's a bit confusing, but overall, I appreciate the staff and the services they provide.

Dr. Hudec and the entire team were friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable from start to finish! While it was a long wait to get an appointment, I appreciated that the team was transparent from the first phone call about how long it would take, process for scheduling, costs, etc. They truly seem to care about their patients and what they do. I highly recommend this office if you have a pet struggling with skin issues. My kitty says thank you for helping him feel more comfortable! Even the exam rooms and lobby were calm enough my normally nervous kitty was happily eating Churu during his appointment :)

For allergen tests and other allergy related tests go to your regular vet. These guys charge double the amount for any tests.I have been going there for close to two years and they keep doing the same tests and keep trying different treatments and gives us the option.I went there hoping they are specialists and would treat the underlying condition rather than trying option 1 then option 2 and then again option 1.
I wasted 2 years of time and money and I am back to my regular vet and I am glad I stopped going there.

Staff and doctors are always so nice and take the best care of our Sir Hugo Squishy Paws. Being allergic to almost everything that grows in this area has been such a struggle. Dr. Hudec formulated an immunotherapy protocol for Hugo and we’ve been slowly working toward not being allergic to the Bay Area.

I find this clinic very helpful and careful for my cat. He has an allergy, so doctors did their best to help us in this situation. I'm really grateful for all people who work there. I would recommend this place to friends with animals <3

Dr Julie Soohoo and staff were wonderful with my cat Orion. Dr Soohoo explained all the options with pros and cons for Orions treatment and we came up with a plan for his skin condition. I didn't feel rushed at all. It does take a few months to get into your first appointment with a dermatology specialist as there just are not enough of them to go around. Please be kind to you Veterinary staff. There is a world wide shortage of all veterinarians and veterinary specialists but no shortage of animals that their medical care.

We were on wait list for 4 months for consultation, but it was worth the wait. Our Boston Terrier Jackson had patchy skin issues for months. We went to 2 different vets who prescribed mild food allergies and recommended we switch food, so we did. They also prescribed steroids and cytopoint shots, which worked for a while, but skin issue never went away....till we went to Dermatology for Animal. They diagnosed it was a skin mite issue. We switched our treatment option and Jackson is doing so much better now. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We are very happy with thier service and highly recommend to others.

After 4 dogs and understanding more about dogs, I don't believe in animal dermatology if they're not working with dieticians and treat the causes. We took one of our dogs to this clinic more than 10 years ago, they did topical allergen test, prescribed injections, it didn't help my dog at all. We had to put him on Benadryl the rest of his life till he passed away at 11 years old. With my current two pups, as I learned more about dogs, I understand the underlying causes are complicated for the itchy skin/ allergic conditions. I read books about their diet and everything. My pups have been on raw diet since 2018, they don't have allergies. Food allergy is one of the top causes in itchy skin. From our experiences with this clinic, they only treated symptoms and even that, it didn't work at all. A couple of years ago, one of my pups was having a different skin condition, I was trying to schedule an appointment, I got no call back whatsoever. Since I live very close by, I drove over in person to find out what's going on. I learned they're so busy and overwhelmed that their appointment was almost a year out. I don't understand why they don't do a better job to let people know that they won't be able to schedule new appointments because they're too packed. When I was there, I run into a couple whose pup was miserable wearing a cone to prevent him from licking. They were told to do the same thing with what they did for my pup so long ago - allergen test and injections. I had to tell them it didn't work for my dog. I'm wondering if a clinic knows something doesn't work and keeps doing the same thing to just rack up the profit. That's sad. For a clinic that's not helping the animals to treat their causes (In my opinion), it's sad to see that so many people don't know and don't seem to understand maybe animal dermatology isn't the right path. Probably starting learning more about your pets, working with animal dieticians are better way to hep your animals. Hope all the fur babies out there find a better solution.

Literally within a few minutes after this review was posted - the same canned message was sent; which proves they really don't care- As other reviewers have said - they do not pick up or return phone calls. My vet recommended that I contact them for my dog's skin issue. A live person never picks up the phone so you are forced to leave a voice mail that never gets answered. Very poor way of doing business especially when the health of a pet is involved.

We are so grateful to the entire team of Dermatology For Animals-Campbell. Our poor pup is plagued by allergies, but with the help of Dr Hudeck and his staff, Finley is starting to have fewer outbreaks and much less itching!! These caregivers are wonderful!!!

After waiting an understandable time to get my baby girl looked at, it was well worth it. After numerous visits with her regular vet my baby girl was referred to the dermatologist for skin allergies. After leaving her first appointment, I started my dog on the care of plan set in place and it was an immediate difference. Fast forward to being on her care of plan for a month, she is back to living her best life. She is not completely healed but about 90% better and has gained 8 lbs, back to her playful, happy self, and back to sleeping throughout the night. The staff has been beyond awesome. They are very professional, knowledgable, and sympathetic to your animals needs. The dermatologist is amazing. He knew exactly what was going on and told us what needed to be done and what was optional. Not once have I felt pressured to place my princess on a plan she didn't need. A+ in customer service and A+ in animal care. Chevelle and I highly recommend for your animal's needs.
