“If you like chocolate it's hard to top See's. Great customer service, free samples, and a decent assortment of chocolates. Prices are a bit high for my tastes, but overall, you pay for what you get and I guess that applies to chocolates. Overall, a great place for gifts, and chocolate memories.”

“This outlet of a See's candy store has existed by itself in a small building since the 1950s. Samples are given generously by a large visible working force. I chose my favorite nutty chocolate nugget because of its freshness in a 1+ pound box.Wheelchair accessibility: Will need door assistance if entering by oneself.”

“I've been to this See's candies a few times through the years. Todays visit stood out to me. First off, it's nice and cool in there! There is always at least 2 people working which is nice too so they could assist me and the other lady there. The gentleman that helped me was named Jamie, I believe he was also the assistant manager. Frankly he is the happiest worker I've ever seen in any establish I've been to! What a nice pleasant man. He said great things about working at See's; and I wish every company treated their customers and workers like See's! Their candies are always fresh and I never have a gripes. Plus, love the free samples! I got something new today too.”

“There is Arby's, and then there is See's Candies. :)Parking: Good not-so-busy parking, part of the reason because it is in a strip mall.Customer Service: The lady working was really friendly, had good recommendations, and gave us this chocolate for free to put in the fridge and try. Definitely recommend.Best Part: They have a wide variety of chocolates, and some really good ones too. Even occasional ones.Tips/Recommendations: You should try the Birthday Cake chocolate.Return: Yes, this place is my happy place really.”

“I had a great experience at this store today. I was there on Thursday October 19th at about 11AM. There was only one person working and I totally failed to get her name, but she was super-nice, and super patient!I went in there to fill a box for my family - could not remember for the life of me what things my family likes (as they all like things I don't, and vice versa) but just went in on a whim to buy them a box. I was the worst kind of customer: "Umm.. I don't know what I want, can I please stare at everything and waste your time while you stand there waiting for me to figure myself out?" Okay, I didn't say that, but I wouldn't have blamed her for thinking that.Quite the opposite, she was polite, totally understanding, totally patient and just chatting with me the entire time while I slowly made choices and figured myself out.That says a lot! When you stop to think about it, working in the customer service industry is never easy. You have to deal with all kinds of cranky, confused, problematic people. I was that person today. Yet, the store staffer was patient, kind, and really went out of her way to make me feel welcome and at ease.This isn't the closest location to where I live, but it's my new favorite, and I will be returning there again because of the fantastic customer service and staff I experienced today.Well done!”

“I have quite a sweet tooth and this store is like a heaven to me: the store is medium-size with an extremely large amount of choices. There are countless types of gummies and you can also buy a 5 pound gummy bear, which could be given to someone as a unique gift. There are also plenty of chocolate bars being offered at the store. The store is so nice that I have to set a budget for myself before stepping into it.”

“The two ladies working this Wednesday night were great! I loved how cheerful and genuinely happy they were to service us. The one who gave me a sample was very thorough in inquiring my kind of treat before offering me a dark chocolate cafe Au Lait truffle (she first asked milk to dark, then fruit, nuts, coffee preference). I also saw how patient they were with other guests who were really studying the piece options intently. They were pretty nice with giving those guests the piece they asked for to sample. After a long day of work I it made me smile to see them still enjoying their day (or rather night) of work. I also tried a new to me candy thanks to fellow Yelp friend recommendation! And those almond royals are gonna be hard to ration.... I give myself maybe a month before the tub is done.”

“Wow, surprised by the bad reviews. I stopped in after checking out Y-linh across the parking lot. I had seen the shop before but didn't have time to go in then. Loved the variety of dried fruits, jerkies, etc. The ladies there don't all speak English, but there was a young man there who did. They were very helpful, answering my questions about what was what (some bins are labeled but not all), giving me a taste of a type of sour plum before I bought some, and I thought the ladies were very sweet, offering different things. Maybe it didn't come off as pushy to me because I don't speak Vietnamese so all I got were the smiles and gestures at different bins.”

“This is the best location of all the VKB’s in the Bay Area. They have a large selection of different dried meats, seafood, fruits, and imported goods. Every time I come here, the lady is always really sweet and offers me samples of anything I want to try. She also always offers me a free bag of xi muoi (dried plums) since I always make large purchases as gifts for family & friends. It’s definitely on the pricey side but totally worth it!”

“Came here to buy some traditional Vietnamese pickles. They have a lot of Vietnamese dry goods and snacks. Chinese Lunar New Year is coming so this one and the store next door was flooded with customers. The line moved fast and efficiently. It was like a magical workshop of See's candies. Make sure ya get your free sample. Good job!”
