Update: I took my car to BMW dealership and they charged me ~$660 (with tax) for a the same service William quoted me ~$1050.
To costumers, they don’t provide fair pricing for the service. Price shop and don’t trust them.
I took my car there for brake replacement. After dropping off the car they provided an estimate that was higher than the BMW dealer. So I took my car back. Throughput the whole process William was very rude and condescending.
Get an exact estimate before going there and don’t trust that will give you a fair price , because they don’t.
And never drop off your car before settling on the price because they count on you not going through the hassle of going back and taking your car back.
With their high prices you might as well take your car to the dealer and enjoy loaner car, car wash and respectful staff.

For 15+ years I have been taking my cars for routine/emergency maintenance to BAMW. William and his team are accommodating and trustworthy. He will often take care of a simple fix for free. You can tell William takes pride in his business as the shop is always spotless

Bay Area motor works have consistently and professionally serviced my Mercedes 550SL for over seven years. I find them efficient and reliable. Plus they don’t try to “upsale” .

I wanted a place I could take my car near my home and saw the great reviews for BAMW. I found that it was easy to get an appt made by Sonja. Service was wonderful as I had hoped. They also have a car wash service during the summer month. So I had that service also. My MB is just beautiful and runs perfect!

Bay Area Motor Works (BAMW) has been my "go to" service center for many years. William S. is extremely knowledgeable and clearly committed to providing outstanding technical / mechanical services. I have owned BMW's for many decades and BAMW is, by far, the most competent and reliable service center that I have ever used. BAMW excels at understanding these highly complex performance vehicles. My experiences over the years with BAMW have been consistently excellent and I highly recommend this company.

Our family has been taking our VWs to William for years (15 maybe? A LONG time!) We are always impressed by his high level of attention to details, the clear communication and his sense of urgency in getting the repaired car back in our hands. Hats off to Bay Area Motor Works for staying true to their 26-year mission of providing THE HIGHEST quality automotive care. I've been a customer for a couple of years, but today they went above and beyond to help me out of a jam by completing a repair on my Audi A5 without an appointment.
