Im Derek and Kevin here is a hoot, old schooler but hell of a guy to talk at and he lives and breaths Trannys and T case's, i had a both rebuilt to like new with good USA heavy duty parts for cheaper than the garbage overseas rebuilt ones online, and he did it within a week or two at most and im born and raised in Campbell so i like giving business locally a chance, Kevin and crew are top notch, the build the tranny and T case was for was my 77 CJ5 Levi Edition Renegade, a T-150 3 spd and Dana 20 T Case, FYI, thx D

Late review, but couldn't be happier with my experience with All Standard. Got my transaxle rebuilt here about 5 months ago, and it's been working perfectly ever since. I believe it was Will who did my rebuild, and he even knew exactly what was wrong with the trans just from my explanation of the symptoms. Apparently the main shaft pinion bearing goes out quite often on Toyota C-series transaxles. All Standard quoted me for a full rebuild, but allowed me to leave certain parts of the rebuild out for a lower cost (at the expense of no warranty, which I believe is fair).Overall: super knowledgeable staff, great work, and reasonable pricing.

I am so sorry this took so long to write. I have a 1955 Thunderbird with a Borg Warner OD manual transmission. After having the transmission rebuilt due to linkage and leaking problems, I was very frustrated. My transmission still wasn't right and still was leaking. My OD (overdrive) also was not functioning. I called All Standard Transmission and describe my problems and was surprised to find that they not only knew transmissions but were very familiar with the Borg Warner type. They found multiple problems with the previous rebuilds and when I came to the shop I was shown the defects that weren't fixed by the other two shops and we also discussion my OD problem (wasn't engaging). There in the shop, we found a 6 volt OD solenoid to replace the old one on my transmission that had frayed wires.Transmission is still working great and I am so grateful to find someone who not only knows modern technology when it comes to transmissions but also has the knowledge to work on "antiques" especially the Borg Warner OD transmissions that NO transmission shop in the area that I called had a clue about. Thank you....I promise to swing by some day, OD is now working great!Kathy Bevin

I pre-ordered parts they told me: it took two months for them to rebuild. The shop communicated. The transmission leaked and I had to have the transmission pulled and sent back again. They did not charge for the rework. They are getting an itemized invoice over to the shop that pulled the transmission.

About a month after I purchased my 2010 Mazda MX-5 6 speed it started to very occasionally pop out of 3rd and 4th gear. Then it became more frequent. Eventually when it came time to replace the clutch I decided that I minuswell have the transmission worked on too.Will was extremely helpful and communicated thoroughly during the entire process of fixing my transmission. He even fixed it for a couple hundred dollars less then then initial quote! Even though he said he was not familiar with my transmission, he spent plenty of time taking it apart and studying it untill he could successfully identify the problem. A true professional!I would recommend anyone with manual tranmission problems go to All Standard Transmissions in Campbell. It's so nice to have my 3rd and 4th gear working again!!!

I had them inspect and rebuild my 5 speed for my GTI. They were courteous, responsive and honest. When I picked it up they gave me the old parts they had to replace as well as a detailed receipt with part numbers. They also have a 1 year warranty. Great experience and my car drives like new!
