This is for the French Bakery pop up on UCSC campus. I ordered a set of items to eat quickly before class, pay, and only after I tip does the employee say they have no utensils whatsoever. She wasn't searching for anything while I was purchasing , just waiting for the payment to complete, facing me the entire time.

Food - I picked up the citrus glazed cheese cake yesterday. Stored it in the fridge and ate it within 3 hours of purchase. It was heavy, dense, too sweet and for "Citrus Glazed" it was jello-like citrus colored with no citrus flavor. For $7 a slice, I expected much more than the Costco cheesecake. It was heavy and I did not feel good for few hours after I had it. I ate maybe half, if that. It was not worth more than 3 bites. Disappointed. Service - great! Friendly, helpful and just really nice. I wish there was a price tag with the product description. Ambiance - Farmers' Market, outside.

This stand pops up every so often and today I decided to try it. It was so bad. I got their potato gratin, it looked like someone had thrown up on it. I warmed it up in the microwave hoping that it would help but it somehow made it worse? It tasted off, like they served me spoiled food. Truly disgusting. I also got their berry tart and it was frozen rock solid, it was like eating an ice cream sandwich.. on top of that, I was waiting around for 10 ish minutes because the attendant wasn't in the stand itself. She came back and reeked of tobacco and smoke and barely attempted to serve me. It was a gross experience. The gratin costed 14 dollars for food poisoning and the berry tart was a 6 dollar ice cream sandwich. Not worth it at all, my stomach hurts.

This food stand can be found in 11 different locations on Saturdays, and another 11 locations on Sundays at farmers' markets throughout the bay area, primarily in the south bay. Had the ham and cheese croissant sandwich at Sunnyvale Farmers' Market a year ago, and more recently tried the ham gougère (with bacon, cheddar, and pesto) and mushroom cup (cup-shaped croissant with mushroom and spinach) at the Mountain View Farmers' Market, but they offer so much more, a nice variety of items including vegan lasagna. The baked goods are served cold or at room temperature to be exact, since it sits in the vendor tent on display as items are sold throughout the day (it definitely tasted better heated up at home). Nonetheless, the sweet and savory treats here are delicious and the people running the stands are friendly and helpful, providing sufficient details about each pastry/dessert (though the labels have prices and ingredients listed as well for most items). This is a popular food stand, so the line can get long sometimes, but they work efficiently to keep things moving and get customers what they need as quickly as possible.

This place was the only bakery in the whole Sunnyvale farmers market, so it was crowded. While the pastries look good, they are not. Everything tasted kind of old, it was very expensive as well. They also forgot something in our order, and we didn't notice until we got home which is rather annoying since everything was already super expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have always loved to grab a pastry at the farmer's market from Adorable French Bakery, my son loves the chocolate croissants and the savory croissants are amazing! Today I hosted a baby shower and decided to have them cater it. The food was amazing, all the guests loved it. Working with Nicolas to create a menu couldn't have been easier! I messaged them through their website and got a response right away. Nicolas suggested a menu and we had everything worked out the same day I reached out to them. The whole process and food, of course, was amazing. Thank you so much to Nicolas and Muriel for their wonderful food and service, it truly made our day!

I'd give the savory pastries 3 stars, and the sweet pastries 2 stars. I've tried Adorable French Bakery's pastries from both the Inner Sunset SF Farmers' Market and the Irvington Farmers' Market in Fremont over the years. The pastries all look appealing and are nicely arranged, so I've been tempted into buying them multiple times. Unfortunately, my general impression of the pastries is a solid "meh" or even disappointing, especially considering the high prices. FOOD //+ Mushroom pesto ricotta croissant cup: this has been the best item I've tried. Flavors were good. Definitely recommend toasting it first before eating.~ Eggplant quiche: very oily and heavy. There was way too much cheese for me. I felt unhealthy eating it as I saw the amount of oil soaking through the cheese and the bottom pastry. I toasted it before eating, which I think made it a bit better.~ Kouign amman: this was okay. The layers inside were more on the bready/doughy side, rather than the flaky croissant-like layers I've usually seen at other bakeries. Not as sweet as other versions I've tried.~ Tropézienne (brioche with orange blossom vanilla cream); apple tart; pear tart: more sweet pastries that did not live up to their beautiful appearances.SERVICE //Friendly service. Near closing time, they offered me a few dollars off the multiple pastries that I'd purchased. However, they didn't mention the 3% credit card fee.

Fresh baked goods from an actual French family. I'm happy to see a stall opened in the Milpitas Farmer's Market. I enjoyed having their Vanilla Orange Blossom Brioche, ham & cheese croissant and French Vanilla Choux. I usually come by the Farmer's Market around 10:30am so 1/2 their goods are sold out. I'll need to come early to try their other goodies.Talking with the seller, he said there is no cafe. Their bakeshop is in Santa Cruz. Not too far compared to other stalls who traveled from Southern California and Central Valley.

Farmers Market purchases in Walnut Creek today. Bought 4 items and threw out two due to quality/taste.- Wheat sourdough- Gougere with ham- Croissant- Almont croissantEverything looked pretty good, but the style of baking here is very odd.The gougere and almond croissant were both really soggy. I've enjoyed these items for many years elsewhere and never run across this issue. The photos on past reviews I see capture the almond croissant. It's more like a bread pudding and should be sold with some other name. Had to toss both.Croissant was ok and the wheat load is crusty and tasty, though with a bit of a gummy texture. Though at $12 just for the loaf I expected it to be really great.

I discovered Adorable French Bakery at my local farmer's market and decided to give them a try. I am always on the lookout for excellent kouign amann, my personal favorite, and I ordered an apple one for myself and a plain for my brother. The pastries are on the expensive side (almost $7 vs. $4-$5), but this is likely due to their larger size. The pastry itself was very heavy and dense, and I was expecting a lighter, butterier pastry. The bottom of the pastry was nicely caramelized; however, the pastry was very difficult to cut with a fork. Also, I would have preferred larger, less mushy apple chunks. Perhaps their savory pastries, breads, and cakes would be better options to try next time.

Adorable French Bakery was present at San Leandro Farmers @ Bay Fair on Saturday, 11-1. offerings: breads, croissants, quiches, tarts, kouign-aman, choux, echairs, prices posted. tarts, quiches, breads short supply. some french pastries were selling 2 for $10, 3 for $15.eats: vanilla choux (cream puff) (7)-vanilla wasn't the usual cream, more dense, topping was unusual, and base was more crumbly than the brittle kind i had before, apple kouign-amann, apple sauce (6) tastes like regular apple sauce. nothing special. pastry is larger than usual, the pastry isn't as flaky, more dense, tastes the same. 3.5 stars good portions for interesting eats, not the same as name brands.
