I booked this place on a whim from the photos, and I am so glad I did. Every detail of the room was arranged with care - so clean! The amenities and snack bar items felt very luxurious. I absolutely loved the morning treat basket that had surprisingly delicious coffee! The beautiful boardwalk that overlooks the beach is just across the street - perfect for taking a stroll or heading over for a bite at the Moonstone Grill. If you are looking for a cute/aesthetic place to stay in Cambria, this is it.

I saw this place on Instagram, and it’s even more beautiful in person. The location is just perfect, right by the ocean with a lovely view out of the window. The room was clean and boutique-style. You park in front of your room, which is safe and easy to access. I went to the bar for a cheese board and wine by the fire pit.Breakfast was just a nice touch, with delivering a picnic basket outside of your door filled with coffee, pastries, and mimosa ready to be enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they gave me recommendations. Overall I enjoyed the hotel, and I have been telling my friends to visit as well.Rooms: Clean and newNearby activities: BeachSafety: Very safeWalkability: You park in front of the room, and to can walk to the beach and cross the streetFood & drinks: A picnic basket was delivered for breakfast, filled with coffee and mimosa

The rooms are clean and well curated. I found them to be spacious and comfortable. The gas fireplace was perfect for the evening chill. A daily morning basket was delightful, but real milk, not half and half is needed.A small movable table would be a nice room addition to set coffee or breakfast on when sitting on the window seat/sofa.Milk in the fridge for tea/coffee would be appreciated vs the many small non dairy creamer individual servings which are wasteful. The main checkin/lobby area is delightful to chill and grab a cocktail or watch the sunset. Its design and style are relaxing.Rooms: Rooms are spacious and really well designed.Safety: This area is extremely safe. No concern walking around.Noteworthy details: The lobby/main building is the gem. Plan to spend time enjoying a cocktail and watching the sunset here.

Charming, well designed spot in the small town of Cambria. Right on the ocean with a beautiful view from the lobby. Love the fresh coffee and pastries left on your doorstep. Beds are comfy, water pressure is A+.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! Well worth the price. It was our honeymoon and the staff really went above and beyond to make it a special experience. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, there is so much thought put into everything, with attention down to the smallest detail. We’ve been coming to Moonstone Beach for a while and staying here made an already amazing place even better! We had a view of the sunset from our room and just watching the sun go down from our gorgeous room was so perfect. Also the breakfast basket was so nice. I highly recommend staying here!! Thanks to all the staff!

Our stay here was so so wonderful- we got lucky and had a sweet room with a view of the ocean and a large bathtub.I really loved the little bar in the lobby area, the small eats they provide, the gorgeous view at every turn, the walking distance to multiple great seafood places, as well as how helpful everyone was here. We interacted with around 4 different employees at various times and the consistency of helpfulness/kindness/friendliness was always present. I can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to come back!

My wife and I along with our 14-month-old son and my dad stayed in this hotel for 2-days total and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel provided us with a pack and play upon inquiry and request in the room when we arrived ?.Having a breakfast basket delivery to your door every morning is a good touch and much appreciated. The hotel has a very limited food menu so you need to go buy food in the surrounding areas. Below are my recommendations for the hotel owners. The bed mattress and pillows need to be firmer. The current mattress and pillows are too soft.Breakfast needs to have more options of having fruits, Oatmeal and Tea, Hot Chocolate instead of coffee.Additional electric cars charging stations on both sides of the hotel along with Tesla destination chargers would be a great addition in the future. Also it would be appreciated if your team can fix the front parking entrance gravel hole that we noticed.

So impressed! You can tell that SO much thought is put into the small hospitality details. I will be recommending and hopefully coming back soon. Also, no one asked me to write this feedback but felt I had too because it really was a great experience for me, my 4 yr old, and dog!

We had a great one night stay while road trip along the California coast. The place is clean and has locally sourced/curated goodies for us to discover. The breakfast basket is a nice touch. The area is beautiful and a quiet little town to enjoy a stroll. Staffs there were friendly and gave us recommendations for the area. Two minor things for us are 1) bed is too soft as we like firm beds 2) the space is a bit on the small end for 3 adults and 1 baby so if we were to stay longer, we would have gotten one more room. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Terrible customer service! Not pet friendly, not people friendly. We stayed two weeks ago, with our service animal, and were excited to stop by again briefly this evening to enjoy their drinks. Curly haired worker gave us attitude for even entering the lobby with our service dog. Are you kidding me!? She was completely oblivious to the fact that he is not only a service animal (she didn’t ask), but we had stayed at their hotel 2 weeks ago! Literally!Owners, please hire people with a little more tact and less judgement. Especially considering your prices and the type of higher end services you are trying to provide relative to the surrounding area. We had an amazing first stay but this experience completely ruined that.Note of advice for the curly haired worker: your job, under CA law, is to simply ask “Excuse me, is your animal a service animal?” Simple as that. Don’t work in hospitality if you don’t know the simple fundamentals.

Wow. We had the best time. Great lobby to hang, easy access to the beach path (which is a boardwalk). Great staff, all very knowledgeable about local to do’s. Will come back at least annually.

Our stay at White Water was indeed a 5-star experience for us. Location (across the street from spectacular Moonstone Beach!), clean and spacious rooms, and great people (shout out to Ryan) running the place. We would return in a heartbeat.

I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his 40th birthday last weekend. The property is STUNNING, and the lobby is just as incredible as it looks online. We sat there for hours playing cards and having cocktails during a beautiful rainstorm. The entire staff was so knowledgable and helpful with recommendations, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (shoutout to Lindsey and Kevan)! We'd initially booked 3 nights (2 nights in the Ocean View Suite #8 and 1 night in a Standard King Room). The Ocean View Suite is UNREAL, huge windows, an outdoor tube with unbelievable views of the coast, and the most insanely comfortable mattress (we even asked where it was from). We were so in love with the property that we decided to stay an extra night and they upgraded us at no cost to a Premier King Room with an ocean view for the remainder of our stay, AND they dropped off an adorable mug for my BF as a birthday gift! You wont regret coming here. The interior design is so thoughtful and artfully done. Walks along the boardwalk are absolutely memorable. There are so many cute restaurants in town. (Linn's, Wild Ginger, and Robin's were our faves), and Moonstone Beach Bar + Grill is just a two minute walk away. We spent a lovely day at Hearst Castle and visited Seal Rock. But our favorite part was just lounging around in our comfy rooms, in our beautiful room, watching the ocean, and drinking fresh coffee and complimentary pastries that the kind staff delivered daily! Oh and btw the rooms are so insanely quiet - I didn't hear any outside noise in either of the rooms we stayed in, except of course when we opened the windows to hear the ocean! Can't wait to visit again. 10/10!
