Pet Care
Cambria Veterinary Clinic
1500 Main St, CambriaWe had an amazing experience at Cambria Veterinary Clinic on Monday. We were camping nearby from out of town when our dog, Oliver, paw injury quickly went downhill. I called Cambria Vet Clinic in a panic and they were able to see Oliver within 30 minutes as a walk-in. Everybody was warm and welcoming from the front desk to the assistant and doc. Oliver can sometimes be aggressive if in pain or scared but he seemed to feel at ease in the presence of the team here. They inspected and cleaned his paw, prescribed meds, and even put a cone on him to prevent from licking his paw. The whole experience was pretty quick (but not rushed) and I’m so thankful to this place! I should also mention the visit was extremely affordable. I wish we lived closer and this was my regular vet! Thank you again Cambria Vet Clinic.

Cambria Animal Medical Center
2501 Village Ln A, CambriaWe were traveling from LA when our dog had a medical emergency while passing through the Cambria area. It was quite late in the afternoon but CAMC still accommodated us. We found Dr. Suzy to be skilled, professional, gentle and a really great communicator. She and the staff went above and beyond, and I think the care they gave went into overtime even after the office was closed.

Boni's Tacos
2253 Main St, CambriaMy hubby isn't a taco truck kinda guy so it took forever to get him here. But today the conditions were perfect and we moseyed over. He ordered a 3 taco combo with pork, chicken and steak and I had their house burrito with chicken. I sampled the meats on his tacos and they were delicious, esp the pork and chicken, as they had great juicy sauces. My large burrito was more like x-large and super good! They let me sub the cotija cheese for Jack, which I find to be better for melting. I would definitely go back and try other items on the menu. I think this will be a Cambria staple for us now! Oopsie, no pix. We ate too fast, will add next time! ?

Cutruzzola Vineyards
555 Main St, CambriaDirk (owner & winemaker) of Absolution Cellars in Morro Bay brought my husband and I here this past weekend. We knew we were going to be in for some delicious wine because winemakers ALWAYS know the good places to go, but what we didn't know was we were going to receive amazing customer service along with fun wine education that we loved! Reyna was the most amazing host and she was so knowledgeable about each wine! I loved that she was willing to teach us about their delicious riesling and pinor noirs (but she was also willing to not over talk had we been the type to want to sit by ourselves)! I learned alot from Reyna! Their Riesling was the best I've ever had! So good, very well balanced and only a little sweet. Their chardonnay was not oakey, which made it delicious for me! 1 pinot was "lighter" while the other was more full bodied. Both were absolutely delicious! My pinot loving husband bought the fuller bodied pinot because it was so delicious. The zinfandel was amazing and not jammy which we prefer! We were fortunate to do the cheese pairing and they use cheese from Viviant cheese in paso robles which made me so happy! And they sell the cheese too! We left with 2 bottles of wine and cheese and can't wait to go back!! Always trust another winemakers recommendation, they know where the good wines are!!

Linn's Easy As Pie Cafe
4251 Bridge St, CambriaStopped in for a snack and coffee. Came back for more. Their other shop sells frozen pies, and with enough notice, they can package your frozen purchases to travel. We picked ours up on our way home, and it survived the 5 hour trip nicely. Ollalieberry is my fave. We had their chicken pot pie for dinner one night and it's very good, especially the crust!

HART Cambria
2638 Main St, CambriaFirst the drive to Cambria is a must. The HART cat rescue is right off Main St., can't miss the building.
Inside is a small but well stocked cat related gift shop, where you can find treasures related to cats.
Plenty of parking off the main drag. I'm not sure about handicap parking.
Everyone was exceptionally pleasant, inviting and informed about adoption of cats and kittens. Staff also knows about the rescue's history and health. You leave with a detailed packet regarding your new best friend. That's helpful when you see your own veterinarian.
The place is clean, no kitty smells. Had a catco for cats to get fresh air and lay in the sun. Very thoughtful.
If you want to adopt, please check their website for hours and adoption fees.
Yes, I did see an elderly cat on their website and knew she needed me. GiGi and I are getting along just fine. She rules this household.
