A very cozy place to stay by the beach. The parking is convenient and spacious for our suv. The host is very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our short stay here.

We used to come here every year because we enjoy the quiet and the view. Always reminded me of my parents’ home. But this time it was filthy. Dark hair all over the floor, dirty toilet, floors didn’t look like they have been cleaned at all. Carpet had food on it and hair, lots of that. Told the man at office and he seem to not care. His reply was we were really busy last week. I said can you please have service in the room tomorrow and do the floors. We are staying here 3 days. Well never happened. You would think they would care about their customers. Just towels delivered so I bought Lysol wipes and cleaned the entire bathroom because it was terrible. I was so mad, could not enjoy my stay. The place needs new bed, very uncomfortable. The only thing this place has is a beautiful view. When we were leaving, I seen the house cleaner and she just gave me dirty looks and I am thinking, well he must have said something to her but still never did her job. We love Cambria and we are going again in 2 weeks but we won’t be staying here again ☹

Loved this place and will be returning! Nice and roomy! The beds a little too hard for my liking, but alot of people prefer a firm bed. Loved how this feels private. No joining walls with the next room. Each room has their own private carport to park in. It's a little outdated, but it's what keeps the cost down. And it was very enjoyable. The room has a fireplace, bit don't think we will need it in June. We came for our 27th anniversary and glad we chose this place. The staff is friendly which .makes it so much better.

A 1 star is being generous. How is this place surviving? It's an overpriced dump. It's outdated, the decor is sad & depressing. I wanted a nice getaway w/ a view, but instead I got an old living room converted into a room. It was like staying at Grandma's who decorating style was stuck in 1985. Was definitely overcharged. The clues were there when I checked in, the front desk was a mess. Stuff, papers all over the floor & all along the stairs. TV was small, coffee & creamer were old. The room smelled like an attic. Too many remotes w/ Half-ass directions. I could hear the computer sounds & telephone ringing next door. The noisy owner upstairs playing movies off of his Fire Stick. Rust & dust everywhere. The sign was super bright & he didn't take it off until after midnight. Horrible stay, I left very depressed.

Nice quaint inn on moon stone beach . Close to restaurants. Inn has 5 rooms so you do not have anyone above you and you do not share a wall . It has a car port for your car which is nice . It is a challenge to back out especially if you have a SUV . It is quite and comfy had a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, lots of drawer space and a fireplace which I didn’t try it wasn’t cool enough . One thing that was a major downfall was the lack of cleansiness of the room the blinds were filthy like they have never been cleaned the sinks were old and stained and the mirror looks like it was never cleaned the bathroom area could use some major updating. For the price you pay I guess I expect a little better in cleansiness .

The price we were charged for the room we got was unacceptable. Unfortunately because there were no other hotels available that didn't cost $500/night, ee had no other choice. We stayed for 2 nights. Water pressure in bathtub very low. Turn on the shower and the water comes out that you have to literally stay close to the wall to get any water on you to get a decent shower. Toilet seat needs to be changed. The worn out spot of all the butt that have been on that toilet is disgusting looking. Carpet is dirty. I wouldn't even put my dirty clothes on that carpet. Wore my shoes the entire time. Towels are colored dirty white. Went out to explore Sunday. We came back room was semi fixed. The coffee mug that we used that morning was not replaced. First off I didn't care to make coffee with the coffee maker provided after seeing how dirty & dusty the blinds were. Who knows how long ago that coffee maker has been cleaned . I placed the used face towel on the bathroom floor. Looked like it was picked up but when I pulled the towel to step on, the same used face towel fell out of the towel. When you leave your unit there's no way to deadbolt the door from the outside. I'm just really shocked to see a hotel in this condition in such a pretty quaint city. It was nice to have your own parking spot next to your unit and the area was quiet enough No we're not coming back to this hotel

Quaint 5 room Inn. Right on the beach. Can't go wrong with that! Loved that each room is private. There is carport parking next to the room which also means the rooms do not share a wall with other rooms. Loved the fireplace and yes, even in summer it gets nippy enough to warrant it's use. The room is dated though clean and the bed was very comfortable. The door didn't close well. We thought it was closed but it wasn't. Seems like a simple repair. Felt safe in spite of that. Room has mini fridge and a small microwave. There was also a packaged coffee from a local-ish (SLO) coffee roaster that we made in the small coffee maker. We may stay there again.

Great family run hotel. Right across from Moonstone beach. Reasonable rates and clean rooms. Really enjoyed our stay.

Very quiet, small town had a few eateries. The room was clean, although a bitantiquated. No cell phone, nor internet services. (This is including the town). The motel had a small outside area where you can sit and have your coffee, or drinks. We bought a deli sandwich and ate there while distancing from others. The sea was a close walk. We found a few sea shells, but opted to leave them behind. You can enjoy the sea from a small hill and listen to it from a bench on top of the hill. I don't know if we would return.
