My son and I stayed here while in Cambria for the Christmas Market. The location is lovely. It is a small, well kept, quiet hotel. The woman who checked us in was pleasant. I really have nothing bad to say.The only minor irritation was that there is no temperature control in the room and the heater was on. Every time I tried to call, no one picked up at the front desk and every time I went to the front desk, the woman working was either on the phone or not there. I had no way to ask to turn the heater off, so we had to sleep with the window open and the fan blasting. The cookies provided were yummy and a nice touch! And they also provide a bagged breakfast and coffee in the morning! Great stay!

Beautiful hotel, great people, amazing views. We spent 1 night, wish we could stay a week! We visited the Cambria Christmas Market and the next morning enjoyed the delivered breakfast out on the patio. The hotel is very affordable, clean, quiet, with very comfortable beds. Irma was so nice and helped save a parking space because we brought a big van to accommodate all 10 of us! Can't wait to come back!

Location, location, location!! Perfectly situated along Moonstone beach with stunning sunset views. Spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated room with ocean view(even from the "back" room)! The bed was very comfortable with multiple pillow types (down, natural organic fill Avocado style, synthetic fill, etc) perfect for side sleepers! Staff was very courteous and provided excellent restaurant recommendations and site seeing/excursion suggestions. In room breakfast delivered timely and was very tasty! Overall, a great value!!

Booked a last minute trip to Cambria and found a superb ocean front room with a large patio. In addition to having a magnificent location, this hotel provides top notch service, with friendly and welcoming staff. We have been longtime returning guests to another hotel on Moonstone Beach, but will never go anywhere but Blue Dolphin Inn again when visiting Cambria. Only very minor disappointment was that they didn't have any playing cards to borrow for the evening, but did offer a nice chess set that we used instead. Understandably a little pricey, but worth every penny.

We Booked the 2 Rooms at the Front with a Patio and Ocean View. The rooms were fantastic. All the comforts you could Imagine. Bed 5 Star Bath 5 Star in fact the whole experience was 5 Star. Breakfast delivered to your room at your chosen time and was perfect start to the Day.

Love this place. Location is amazing. Right across the street from the ocean and We left our window open all night and could here the waves crashing on the shore. The staff was super nice and very professional. They made us feel very welcomed. The hotel provides breakfast that they brought to our room which was very good.

Everything about the Blue Dolphin Inn is great. The rooms are very roomy and extremely clean and well appointed. The breakfasts are great. Their are even egg selections. The front desk people are wonderful. And it is located directly across from Moonstone Beach and the great boardwalk. They even provide a squeegee and rags to clean your car windshield.

Love the location, staff, and breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Moonstone Beach is across the street. Great boardwalk for a morning or evening walk. Lots to do and see in the area: Hearst Castle, elephant seals, antique stores, or just take in the magnificent ocean views.

Really fabulous hotel, great value. You’ve really thought of everything. I would highly recommend. Very comfortable beds. Super clean. Staff really helpful, nice restaurants near by . Provide a nice breakfast too.

Not sure this place cares about guest welfare. I cut my foot on an exposed nail in upholstered chair. I alerted on site manager and reached out again when no one contacted me and again no response. Now I will file a claim against their insurance for damages. Visit to ER, pain, and lousy customer service. A simple phone call would have gone a long way. Accidents happen. Poor customer service is intentional. Lots of places to choose from along this strip in Cambria. Book Blue Dolphin at your own risk.

A cute family run place right in the Ocean.Rooms are special and very well designedEach room has a bay window, so you get a limited view of the Ocean (was good for me)Make sure to walk on the boardwalk along the beach.Rooms: Rooms are very well appointedLike a 5 star hotel.

We recently stayed at this property for 3 nights in a king bed sea facing room. The hotel is small, well maintained and quiet. The hotel is not staffed at night and you need to consider if this is an issue. The hotel is not air conditioned although we were advised this is not an issue in this location. Parking was great.

My wife and I had an awesome stay this week here. We've stayed at their sister inn. The Sand Pebble, and the Blue Dolphin Inn is just as wonderful. This is our sixth stay on Moonstone Beach and these two inns are the best. Great customer service, beautiful clean rooms, and they deliver a pretty hefty egg breakfast to your door. We stayed in the double queen oceanfront room (Sea of Japan) and it had a great view of the ocean from the second floor. Great bathroom with a tub and separate walk in shower. Also had a Keurig coffee machine, microwave, and fridge. They even provided two bottles of water, chocolate chip cookies, and plates with silverware too. Pretty decent wifi, was able to use our Firestick without issues. Good thing we had wifi because both our TMobile phones didn't get any cellular service here. If you are TMobile customer, be prepared to use wifi calling and have a good VPN client. Parking was good and a nice touch offering clean rags and a squeegee to clean your windshield. Just had a great time and definitely coming back here or the The Sand Pebble the next time we come up to Cambria.
